QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 17, 2009 -> 09:00 PM) No idea. We know Peter and Hiro get their powers back somehow, not sure how that happens, and what is with Ando's power? There has to be something more to it. I hope they are setting something up, cause right now they are treading water. i believe the thinking on Peter is with him and Sylar having all theo powers it was almost a standoff if/when those two meet. Reducing Peter to one power at a time makes Sylar that much more of a bad-ass. and after the neutering Sylar had over the last couple of years...it's good to see. I like seeing him try to contain his rage towards the kid he's with now. he's gonna explode soon but it's just a matter of who's around when it happens. Since they already showed Ando in the future with a power and fighting with Hiro, they have started to build that up. I liked hiro early on but now i'm cringing ever time he's on screen. Still waiting to see about Parkman and his 'super-baby'.

maybe putting Christian on ECW is Vinnie's attempt to get more people to watch ECW. It's the only thing i can think of that would make any sort of sense to me.

at least from the official statement, i don't think CJ has much to worry about from the WWE. The fans however might be a different story WWE has issued the following statement to TMZ concerning the Jericho/Fan altercation: “After leaving a live event in Victoria, British Columbia on Saturday evening, Chris Jericho’s car was attacked by a mob when he was stopped at a stop sign. Unable to proceed, Chris Jericho exited his car to ask the crowd to clear a path so he could continue through the intersection. A man and a woman physically and verbally assaulted Mr. Jericho. Arena and WWE security arrived to establish enough order to allow Mr. Jericho to re-enter his vehicle and depart. The local police arrived minutes later. Mr. Jericho was unharmed in the incident. The WWE is working with local authorities who are investigating the incident to identify the man and woman who fled the scene. on another note...Amarillo.com is reporting that Terry Funk is the next wrestler to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2009. On his induction, Funk said, "I don't deserve the honor." Well...what do you think....does he deserve it??? I would say yes.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 05:45 AM) It's just a f***ing cool show. They know they're not reinventing the spy thriller, they're just trying to put together one badass episode after another. They found a formula that works, Jeffrey Donovan round house kick to the head of a bad guy = badass, Bruce Campbell doing anthing (preferably with a shotgun) = badass, throw in some cool homemade gadgets, a few explosions, some gunfire, a person in need and a long con and you have a very entertaining show. My only complaint with the show is the actress who plays Fiona, she has to weight about 70 pounds and it looks like she struggles to move her lips because her face is so tight, she's also not much of an actress. But that's a very small gripe. I got to say Fiona should be in more bikinis.....

The online ticket giant, Ticketmaster, apologized yesterday to Bruce Springsteen and his fans for Monday's ticket fiasco, saying it "clearly missed the mark" when it directed customers to its own re-sale site, where they paid as much as four times the cover price. The public apology came a day after Springsteen angrily denounced Ticketmaster's handling of Monday's sale for his upcoming "Working on a Dream" tour. Within minutes of the sale's start, Ticketmaster customers were told the concerts were sold out and were directed to the service's resale site, where a $95 ticket was going for as much as $380. In his apology, Ticketmaster Entertainment CEO Irving Azoff said the company will no longer link to its subsidiary, TicketsNow. He also promised to give refunds to fans who inadvertently purchased tickets from the resale exchange. "We recognize that we need to change our course," Azoff wrote in an "open letter of apology to Bruce Springsteen, Jon Landau (Springsteen's manager) and the entire Springsteen Tour Team" posted on brucespringsteen.net. "We also publicly state that we will never again link to TicketsNow in a manner that can possibly create any confusion during a high-demand on-sale." Fans were outraged on Monday when they found themselves at the resale site when attempting to buy tickets for Springsteen's May 21 and 23 concerts at the Izod Center in East Rutherford. Their complaints led state and federal lawmakers to launch investigations, and caused Springsteen to post an open letter to Ticketmaster on his website demanding Ticketmaster stop the practice, which he called "a pure conflict of interest." U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-8th Dist.), who on Tuesday asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the relationship between Ticketmaster and TicketsNow, kept up the pressure yesterday, requesting the House Judiciary Committee and federal regulators examine the possible merger between and Ticketmaster and Live Nation, the concert promoter that recently launched its own nationwide ticket service. Springsteen said in his letter that this merger "is one thing that would make the current ticket situation even worse." New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram, who announced Wednesday she would launch an investigation, sent a letter to Azoff yesterday, requesting "TicketMaster cease and desist from steering purchasers to TicketsNow.com by any method including the use of 'pop-ups.'" Ticketmaster is a dominant force in ticket services, operating one of the largest e-commerce sites at ticketmaster.com as well as 6,700 retail outlets and 19 call centers around the globe, according to its website. In 2007, it sold more than 140 million tickets to sporting events, performing arts, concerts and museums. Pascrell said he spoke to Azoff and vowed to stay vigilant. Man...i'd love to see those greedy SOB's go down.

This past week's Battlestar Galactica was awesome. I was surprised they ended the mutiny as fast as they did but if they can keep the pace up to the end...great. Burn Notice continues to be my new favorite show.

QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Feb 6, 2009 -> 12:07 AM) Just throwing out a theory here: Is it possible that Locke might get "lost in the past" somehow in another flash, then he lives on the island from that time and eventually becomes the person known as Jacob? Then in 2004, the plane crashes with 2004 Locke aboard and the original Locke is already on the island as Jacob. Any possibility to this theory? This Locke is Jacob theory has been on my mind for the past 2 weeks now. at this point i guess anything is possible

QUOTE (Nixon @ Feb 5, 2009 -> 03:33 PM) If either of them die I have to figure it'll be Charlotte, she's got a much less interesting background than Miles "The Ghost Whisperer" I hope neither goes just yet as they haven't really fleshed out their ties to the island. Then again...it's possible to do with flashbacks so if one HAS to go i guess Charlotte would be my pick. Though everone is starting getting nosebleeds

I like ABC showing two Scrubs episodes each week. I thought they were both pretty good last night. Ted saw lots of screeen time (for Ted) in both episodes. I wonder if he wil be maintaining a relationship with ukalele girl?? I also like how they showed a close up of Cox's never, never, never enter list for his office and the three names on there were J.D. , Jordan, and HOOCH!!!!!!!!! I'm still hoping to see Hooch this year Damn....Hooch is crazy!!!!!!!

As Banyan would say...this is gold Jerry....gold!! Pelosi tries to explain how $330 million dollars allocated for STD prevention will stimulate the economy. I'm all for preventing STD's but come on.

I'm undecided how I'd feel about a Scrubs spinoff. I'm not even sure how John McGinley (Dr. Cox) would feel about coming back. (Personally, i can't believe that dude has never even been nominated for an Emmy). Keith is still around so maybe he could hook up with 'Jo' and get his balls busted on a weekly basis like he did with Eliot.

Another thing i noticed last night was when Faraday's group was captured the little blond looked and him and said "You just couldn't stay away could you?" and never went back to that. Lost sin't the type of show to have throw away lines so that line leaves me a bit curious. I think maybe....just maybe that the blonde (i think her name was Elle) is a young Mrs. Faraday. she probably recognized her son but then covered it when she realized her son didn't recognize her. Then again...i did have a couple beers last night so I could be way off.
