juddling

In the context of setting up the upcoming story i thought the episode was pretty good. I'll be interesting when Des and Penny get to LA. Ben and Desmond never met on screen so it will be interesting to see what wrinkle he throws into Ben's plans. The mention of Widmore caught me by surprise so the old man was/is an original Other??? i guess that explains why he's hunting for the island so bad. I caught that Des named his boy Charlie. Thought that was a nice touch since Des felt guilty about Charlie's death on the island. It was nice getting some more background on the island and it's original inhabitors. maybe we'll eventually see the explanation for the 4 toed statue.

Hugh Jackman gets another Scrubs mention last night. I would like to see Jackman show up with his Wolverine hair (say with a movie set injury) and face off with Dr. Cox. JD would freak and picture Cox as Magneto or something with a fight scene.

I'm turning into my father in that the older i get the more and more I hate being in a crowd. Wheather it's a movie theater or the mall or whereever, I don't like it..and I have no patience for long lines. Relating to first point, i can stand these kids (and i mean people up into their late 20's at times) who have to wear the baseball cap backwards or off to the freakin' side. I want to slap it off their heads and tell them that they look like a HUGE douchbag. Though I feel they probably know it. I hate stores like Old Navy and Ambercrombie who have their names on every piece of clothing. It's bad enough you want me to pay your inflated prices but then you expect me to walk around and be a f**kin billboard for you???? Why don't you pay me to advertise your store and maybe we'll see. Also....people who go into the self-checkout line at the store and have no idea how to use it. STOP GETTING IN FRONT OF ME. It shouldn't take you 5 minutes to ring up one gallon of milk and pay for it...and God help me (and them) if they get confused because it's in English. If you can't read the language or speak it...go to a cashier!!!!!!!

Don't know if it was mentioned anywhere else on here but one year ago today (1/22) Heath Ledger's body was found.

..and if you think about it...a 70 hour time limit is only 3 days off island. Ben's got alot to do in three days, obviously getting Hurley out of police custody the number one priority. This whole season will cover the span of three 'Lost' days. Sounds like someone has been watching 24 reruns...lol.

I think Ben sent the lawyers to Kate. She seemed to be the best adjusted to life again so he needed to shake her up so she'd be more willing to go back. Were my eyes decieving me or was that Jack's dad (or at least the actor) that showed up at Kate's door???? That's got to mean something.

Add one more to the list....... The WWE has officially announced the release of Bob Holly due to the same cost cutting measures we have seen them taking lately. Holly had been with the company since 1994, but had not been seen on television since losing the Tag Team Championships to Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes at June's "Night of Champions" pay per view when Rhodes (Holly's partner at the time) turned on him and sided with DiBiase. He was sent home after that due to some sort of personal issues and hasn't been seen on television since.
