I wouldnt give up any of those players alone for Soriano... well maybe Lacky but none of the others.

assuming he doesnt re-injure himself severely Frank Thomas should hit 500 easy next season.

All I have to say is Lieber sucks.

I think Rogo should be a bench player for us next season assuming he isnt a throw in for a trade. Him and Boone Logan can really contribute to the team next year. Sweeney and Fields have more upside a course but they both might still be a season away.

Bedard has been an amazing since making some adjustments so I think the offense did ok even though failed at somethings. Garcia at least kept us in it and this is the 2nd straight start where he has done that. The bullpen was great throwing nothing but strikes and making it look easy. Than the bench guys basicly won us the game... whats not to like? A course if we go and lose the next 2 than its all for nothing.

What kind of stuff does Woodson have? It seems his name is mentioned a lot but I havent seen the results... He was dominant his first outing I think but besides that.

Wow... we won the first game and against the one id say almost elite pitcher they have. The offense should score some major runs these next 2 games and Garland has been our stopper. Also im loving this bullpen now with Thornton, Cotts, Macdougal, and Jenks finishing it up.

Well Radke has been good for awhile now after a pretty miserable start... And while Liriano and Verlander might falter a bit down the stretch.... being in a playoff atmosphere and being as young as they are... they both will definitely bring the heat.

Wow if thats all it took for Clee I would think that hurts the value on Soriano. Keven Mench is a very talented hitter but he isnt anything special in the OF and I know Buck Showalter never thought much of him. Nix really hit well in the minors if I remember right and made some highlight reel catches in the OF but hasnt been able to hit at all in the majors...And Cordero isnt what he used to be but still has 2 real plus pitches although he is a headcase and hangs pitches. So an underachiever, a bust, and an over the hill reliever for a slugger like Carlos Lee.

Im actually starting to hate this team.... and not just a little im beggining to despise it......The offense cant score without hitting a homerun especially since the all-star break and the pitching well SP has been such a huge dissapointment.

The only problem though in my mind is that we possibly just had one of the worse drafts in recent history. Our first round pick is in rookie ball for some reason even though he is a seasoned college pitcher. Our 2nd rounder has been lit up in Low A. Our third round pick has been ok but not that good also in rookie ball. A lot of the guys we took that would of made it a good draft didnt sign.....
