Its not a serious injury like last year, its just inflamed and needs some time to heal a little more. He should be back way b4 october comes around.

If KW could work out a way to sign Burnett long term.. 4 years at 8 million per or whatevr I would be all over the B-Mac/Marte deal but if he cant I dont think losing a future starter thats cheap and a big part of our bullpen for a 2 month rental is worth it.

Looks like Sanchez has really been struggling lately. Does anyone here see the Bristol games that they can tell us anything about these players or no?

well our longest losing streak of the season is still only 3 games. One complaint those was Cora sending Konerko home... that was just dumb... it would of been a play at the plate with a guy like uribe or rowand maybe but Konerko thats retarded.

Our old cat was in a bag full of other cats and all the other ones died and ours was the only one that lived... she was so small she could fit in your hand... I guess some store owner didnt want the cats anymore and threw them out in a bag............. :finger She lived to be 16ish when we had to put her to sleep... than like 2-3 years after that we got 2 cats from a non-kill shelter.

While TO's situation is really uncalled for since he signed the contract last year and is getting paid a ton. I dont blame Walker, he proved last year he was an elite WR and now deserves to get paid like one. Thats how the system works.

While we should try to resign Duhon, if the cost for him becomes to high to make it worthwhile id love for us to take a chance on Jay.

im 100% with you, infact I was happy with Willie starting and not getting Gooch in the 1st place. As for Iguchi he started off the season very well, but I think pitchers are starting to adjust to him and he is being exploited. I still say Jose Valentin ruined everything last year.... we had a really good thing going with uribe and willie out there.

I think Young and Sweeney should at least both spend the 1st half of next year at AA and depending on how they do than be called up. Rogowski and Owens should be at AAA. And I think Josh Fields might need to stay at AA also.

I would be thrilled if Cuban bought the Pirates. He would make them contenders in a couple of years which is good because they have a good fanbase if they put together a good team...
