I rather trade for Brazoban... cheaper and showed earlier this year he can close as well as anyone....While I agree we might want to trade for a RP later this year Gagne not only will demand a lot in a trade but also costs a lot of money. If we are looking for a closer id say Wagner whose in his last year of a contract and just as dominant.

Carlos also made a web gem.... his fielding keeps getting better year by year... I still wish we traded Konerko instead... but than im also really happy with what Pods has done for us.

well since he wouldnt cost 9 million because we would only being paying him for half the year i think you need to lower your number.... Also if Wagner comes to us we would possibly have the best bullpen in baseball which is important in the playoffs... he would replace Cotts so thats one helluva upgrade.

Id think Frank would be the main DH, and than we would have a rotation OF.... Dye needs a break Everett plays RF, Pods needs a break Everett LF... Rowand needs a break Pods CF and Everett LF.

While Vlad is maybe my favorite player to watch... him being out for the series going to be awesome because their offense hasnt even been that great with him...

Im personally scared of the A's.... All i can think about is Billy Koch... and Billy Beane obviously thinking KW is a complete idiot according to his book.

I knew the old man would go down sometime.... but I thought he would make it through June at least.... I guess it makes sense there is something wrong with him after that texas start which was ugly. Btw even though he was 5-1 he was probably our worse pitcher of the season so far. Got out of a lot of jams early which in the long run will come back to haunt you giving up so many hits and walks and he always tired out our bullpen.

If we can get him without giving away too much im all for it, but with the way he has been pitching lately... He isnt worth a top prospect anymore to me... like Anderson, B-Mac, or Sweeney... anyone else is fine.

If B-Mac doesnt pitch like Wilson Alvarez on his major league debut vs the Orioles ill be greatly dissapointed

He does seemed a lot more relaxed in the booth this year doesnt he, maybe those games w/out Hawk and than a lot of times this year doing innings by himself has helped him a lot.

This injury kind of worries me, if it wasnt anything serious you would assume Garland would pitch that Sunday game since he would be on normal rest anyways, I think El Duque must be out at least 3 starts for them to call up B-Mac..

well with our group of starters I dont think there will be many opportunities for B-Mac.... I mean there was that one El Duque massacre and than when Contreras got hurt... other than that our starters have gone pretty deep into games.... and since B-Mac isnt really doing that great in AAA let him stay there and get some experiance, he will get some RP opportunities in sept. or if a starter goes down.

SP: Rich Harden, Dontrelle Willis, AJ Burnett, ......., Dan Meyer(top 100 prospect) BP a bunch of scrubs besides Dotel.

zambrano got snubbed with that El Duque pick and Rowand got snubbed with the Patterson pick.... so at the end all is equal.

I was really pulling for us to trade Konerko over Carlos Lee... a course with Podsenick coming our way it worked out for the best but still. Konerko seems like a great guy and all but I dont think he is worth 6 million a year and he is already getting paid more than that, i wont have a problem if he isnt resigned. Although he does seem to be an overall fan favorite so that might have some play in the white sox resigning him.....
