I have gone on Greyhound Bus trips and Amtrak rides and I must say that I perfer the train. I like the fact you can get up and stretch your legs, get a snack, and if your trip is long enough they feed you. I also think it's relaxing to just sit there with my laptop and watch a movie while i'm traveling. However you should also be warned that they are always late. The last time I took the Amtrak it was scheduled to arrive at 11:30 AM and it didnt' arrive until 2:30. Other then that it's a fun way to travel.

For all of you guys who want to replace Crede with Troy Glaus: Batting Average 98-.218 165 at bats 99-.240 551 at bats 00-.283 563 at bats 01-.250 588 at bats 02-.250 569 at bats 03-.248 319 at bats 04-.251 207 at bats Forgive me if i'm not too terrible impressed. Not only that a guy like this will command about 7 or 8 Mil on the open market. Give Crede a chance. If he can hit .250+ with 20+ HR's and 70+ RBI's in the 7 Hole then thats all we need. If Joe Crede is carrying our offense next year then we are in a hell of alot of trouble.

Crede deserves another shot IMO. He's driven in some clutch runs and lets be realistic here he is our #7 hitter at most. I think he can bat at least .250 plus and I think thats enough to put us over the top.

Honestly I see Garland going like 15-12 next season. I think any more then that is expecting way too much.

Is that 28% with the Sox. I've only seen him not throw a guy out twice that tried to run on him not counting the perfect throws that Valentin dropped.

In my opinion he put himself together a very solid year. He's 24 years old and shouldn't have been expected to have been any more then a forth starter anyway. Still he managed to have a record of: 12 Wins, 11 Losses with an ERA of 4.89 and 217 IP Last time I checked consistant 12 game winners didn't grow on trees and I don't think 3 Mil is too much to pay for a guy who has every chance to get better next year. Even if he gives us the same thing then he's still not hurting us.

I think over a full year that Ben could hit above .250 and drive in at least 40 runs. 10-15 HR's wouldn't be out of the question either. I think the only thing Ben needs is to work alot with Greg Walker. It looked like for a few months that he had found out his game and lately it seems like he's just lost it. I don't know who you've been watching if you say he's a bad defensive catcher. I know he has gunned down more baserunners then he has allowed since putting on that uniform.
