I think he's totally right. We have a core of talent, it's just about finding the right guys to come in and compliment and support them.

Well I think it's obvious that Juan is going to be a starter so we are going to need a new super sub type player. Valdez can be huge off the bench in my opinion, he just needs a shot.

This is great news in my opinion. Cliff started out bad but in my opinion came on real strong at the end of the year. He will contribute huge next year. Shingo should be the setup man next year though in my opinion. We need a real closer.

I agree. Willie was totally mishandled. It's hard to do a job when you have to sorry about losing time for every little mistake. I like that he knows he can do better and that is great. Besides that .343 OBP isn't too bad...

Sorry but I disagree. He is a starter so he would be doing just as well as such. It's not a case of being more comfortable out of the bullpen as it is him being more comfortable at the major league level. He put up killer numbers at AAA as a starter and IMO it was only a matter of time before he got comfortable. Jason Grilli has not been that good. I say give Felix the shot that he deserves.

Honestly Beltran is a long shot... I know I'll get mocked here pretty badly but why don't we go after Griffey Jr. The guy hasn't had really any serious injuries. They might take a trade of say Paulie and Cotts and then eat up maybe a 1/3 of his remaining salary. I think he can come back strong and really help us out. Not only that he could easily have a 40 HR season at the Cell.

:dips*** Anyone who dares to call Willie an inconsistant defender who can't turn tough double plays obviously doesn't watch many Sox games. I'm sorry but Willie has been a revelation for us defensively at 2B. He may not have the strongest arm in the world but he sure as heck can get rid of the ball faster and more accurately then any other 2B in baseball. Add that to his range and we have a good defensive player on our hands. Don't get me wrong I would have liked to have seen Willie steal more bases too, but this is his first full year and I think that he deserves at least 2 full years to prove he can do the job. That being said Willie should be the #9 hitter next year. He should not be the leadoff hitter.

Your right about one thing. The bandwagon sox fans don't want to see Uribe at SS and Harris at 2B because they think that the only good player can be a player who is famous or making a whole lot of money. Anyone real Sox fan knows that it gives us a killer lineup. Willie has far exceeded expectations and so has Uribe. Not only that they are the best double play combo in baseball. This is our lineup again for 05 if you stand pat and Ozzie has a brain in his head: CF- Rowand SS- Uribe DH- Thomas 1B- Konerko LF- Lee RF- Everett/Escobar C- Ben Davis 3B- Joe Crede 2B- Willie Harris YEAH real horrible lineup here.

It's too hard to choose the best but I can tell you a place to avoid. For anyone who has ever been to Union Station they have a chinese food restaurant there in the upper levels at the food court. It is absolutely terrible.
