Sorry - Just read it over after making some posts, tho I see np with my posts so far. I've read and agreed! Peace! -
Mate - I can fully understand the reality and fakes of wrestling. It's just a hobby, comparing this is comparing apples to oranges. It's happened multiple times, what makes me believe anything I hear from this situation. After reading this article maybe you will change your mind: http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?con...a&aid=15767 That is part 2 of an amazing 3 part series. After reading the history of that, how can you say what you said to me?

Ok mates, first off some specifications and background: Age: 20 Weight: 144-148 (it goes up and down) Height: 6 Footish Goal: To gain muscle / weight the correct way (not by eating bs) Background: I'm very disciplined, eating right/exercising daily is no problem for me. I haven't drank soda in years, haven't gone to a fast food place in years. My problems are restaurants and chocolate chip cookies . I love to run, and recently started working out. I do have a minor heart problem (apparently...) that runs in my family, so running is very important to me. Running: For the past 8 months or so - I have been running daily. It has peaked this month were I will reach a goal I never thought I'd achieve - 100 miles in one month. I would like to continue running a lot. Should I be running daily? Right now I run about 13 out of 14 days. One off day every 2 weeks. Is this a problem? Yes - I'm aware that running is going to burn a lot of my calories (also my muscle mass?), but I absolutely love the 'high' feeling I get after a nice run. Working out: Here's the thing I need to correct the most. I never really worked out my life up until this last year. It has also peaked this past month / two months ago were I work out for a good 45+ minutes daily doing a daily regiment of Lifting weights, some push ups, incline, decline, flys, curling, etc. I do not really have a set workout routine, I just do the same thing everyday. It has shown results, but I feel I'm not optimizing myself as I am never really sore, only a bit fatigued. After skimming over the P90X thread I love what I'm hearing. From my understanding it is an at home, low material 7 day a week workout routine that has had alot of success for people. Would you suggest the P90x purchase for me? Link? Diet: This is an interesting one - I am very, very health conscious. 2 years ago I was on a raw food diet (vegetarian) for 6-7 months, felt great, but couldn't help but feel I wasn't getting everything I needed. Also, in the long run, it was an unsustainable diet. After those months I went to a more normal diet, but very organic, no preservatives, no MSG / Aspartame diet. Worked well, but again - It is not optimal to my goal of putting muscle mass on. So recently (this past few days) after reading some of the topics here I have come across some ideas: -Egg Whites, going to be eating these almost daily -Eggs - A few of these added with egg whites -Salad a day, love salads, but my problem the past 2 years has been the dressing. I feel like I can compromise with dressing a bit and allow myself to use a good dressing as long as I eat a nice salad consisting of Broccoli / Peppers / onion / spinach etc. -Turkey - Love turkey sandwichs, cold cuts, great addition to my diet IMO. -Peanut butter and Jelly - I feel this allows me to put on some much needed calories, correct? Good idea? -Nuts - Love cashews / almonds / nuts. -Drink: Water exclusively, but just added a cup of orange juice daily. -Lots of fruit and vegetables, love fruit bowls consisting of anything really, and eat a good amount of vegetables as well. -Oatmeal - Just added this to my diet -Yogurt - Yoplait normal yogurt (I dont eat light due to aspartame) is this good for you? -Potatoes - I eat alot of these -Garlic - Eat alot of this for my immune system So I pretty much have a good idea that all of the above is pretty healthy, smart for me, but heres some of my questions: -Cookies: Its the one snack I love. Is this a problem to me in anyway? The way I look at it is: I need to add some calories due to my excessive amount of running, Does cookies offer anything negative to my goal I should know? -Meat: Ok, I'm pretty clueless on meat. I know alot about turkey - Love it. But lets say sausage links for breakfast - Is this good or bad for me at all? Good protein? Bad for health? How about Chicken breasts in say a fajita. Is this good or? Red meat - pro/cons? Basically I have some issues with meat, I mean ye - I'm no way a veggie anymore, don't get it twisted, but red meat I have read alot about the negatives on the heart. - What can I add? I feel theres items out there that I need to add to my diet for me to accomplish my goal. Any ideas? I also take about 2000 IU's Vitamin D supplement per day, and an Advanced Complex Vitamin B supplement per day. All in all - I am looking for the best optimal HEALTH while bulking up gaining some muscle, along with great endurance. I feel I have the discipline to accomplish it - but I need the knowledge! Thanks for any help mates.

Yeah lost - I heard excellent things about that game. Also this years baseball games I cant wait to try out. Gets me so hyped for the season.
-
Yeah, Rafeal Palmerio won one one year I believe and rarely played the infield. And didn't some DH win one or something of that ilk? I dunno, but the GG award voting is terrible.

Trade talks for Amare heating up as always Though still not close to the level of last season, trade talk surrounding Amar'e Stoudemire has intensified.Chad Ford delivered the following report on Stoudemire's trade status. 'I was skeptical last week when I did my trade story. But since then I've had several signals come out of Phoenix that Amare is available for the right price. I think the Suns are really concerned that he wants to leave for a bigger market. I would've said last week there was a 10 percent chance he gets traded. I'd up it to 40 to 50% now based on what I'm beginning to hear. I was daydreaming... What if: -The bulls trade for Caron butler - Tyrus + whomever (Deng? Whatever..) -The Bulls sign Chris Bosh Our lineup next year could possibly be: PG Derrick Rose SG Kirk Hinrich SF Caron Butler PF Chris Bosh C Joakim Noah Bench: John Salmons OMFG!!!!!!!!! -
This is unreal Tournament 2004 for the PC, this game is simply amazing. Best OFFLINE shooter I've played. The bots in it are so cool. Here is a last man standing game against 32 bots al free for all on a crazy map with crazy weapons.

At the risk of looking like an idiot, I'm going to post my brother and his friends video accounts. They offer little to no creativity in terms of videos, but for some it may just be fun to rofl @ for 30 seconds. Basically they take a song and dance, my bro with his shirt off (I guess for the ladies...) and then the other guy (other guy is hilarious) does some weird things http://www.youtube.com/user/jerjess1#p/a/u/2/6OUgJus_LRA .... I am no part of this!

Yeah - I mean it's much more of a 'joke' expression for me... I'm not homophobic or anything... It's just chills the mood when I compliment another dude.
-
I like the idea. Bring back the real competitors in the dunk contest. Would be for a good cause, I'd love to watch.
-
Personally - I'd enjoy a HEEL HBK vs a FACE HHH @ Wrestlemania, from my knowledge that's never been done before. But WM is shaping up - could be HHH vs. Sheamus (whack... HHH title at wrestlemania is just bad.) HBK Vs. Undertaker (i dont like this one much either, would be a good match again, but no reason for it to happen twice) Cena vs. The Rock (Doubtful but if it worked, it'd be cool, the only Cena match that I'd accept ) MITB (Kofi? Christian? CM Punk? THE MIZZ!!!!) Mysterio vs. CM Punk has been talked about in some hair vs mask match, thatd be awesome

Welcome mate! Soxfest is something I'd like to attend when I move up to Chicago this year. (meaning I'd have to attend next year)

Disclaimer: These are my personal thoughts (vibes) mixed in with ADP of other sites + stats to achieve a personal rankings list. Feel free to comment/berate/whatever. smile.gif Tier 1: 1. Hanley Ramirez - In a world of his own at ss position. In many leagues I would choose him number 1 over Pujols due to Pos Scarcity + production. Tier 2: 2. Tulowitzki - Guy is nuts, young, solid lineup, great stadium, this is the guy I am aiming for in alot of the second rounds in my draft. Tier 3: 3. Reyes - Heres were the rankings get interesting, crapshoot time. Reyes could be a steal or could be a dud at the ADP. I wouldn't mind him on my team over the other SS's, but at what cost? In an interview he said he's ready to go, take it FWIW. 4. Rollins - Close to Reyes, but in the decline and had a terrible first half last year. But still talented nonetheless. 5. Jeter - First AL guy here, getting older, pro player, his BA should come down, but in the lineup he is a solid addition to your fantasy squad. Tier 4: 6/7. Bartlett/Zobrist - Him and Zobrist I have no idea what to expect. They obviously were stars last year, but what is going on this year? Bust? You make the call, but for last year they get ranked here IMO. 8. Stephen Drew - Very cheap this year in drafts, should rebound 9. Alexei Ramirez - Ups and Downs, hopefully he can stay more consistent and be the player he truly can be. If I miss out on the top SS's, I'll be aiming for the Cuban Missile. 10. Yunel Escobar - Does enough to be solid as your starting SS. 11. Elvis Andrus - Love this guy, I'll be aiming for him If all the other SS's are gone, big sleeper pick. Tier 5: 12. Everth Cabrera - Great stealing potential, sleeper pick, I like the upside. 13. Alcides Escobar - Upside Upside Upside. Upside over below average hitters IMO! 14. Asdrubal Cabrera - A guy I like as a potential backup on my teams. Solid player, could be getting better. More Upside! 15. Tejada - Not a big fan here, Ehhh pick, but he posted good numbers last year, so take it FWIW. 16. Marco Scutaro - I don't expect much here. 17. Theriot - Ehhh, Solid option if you have nothing left. 18. Erick Aybar - I've seen alot of different rankings on him, could be a wild card. The rest: Aviles could produce, Orlando Cabrara, Ian Desmond could be a big time sleeper although I don't see it happening THIS year, Christian Guzman

WOW that is an atrocious trade offer. -
Disclaimer: These are my personal thoughts (vibes) mixed in with ADP of other sites + stats to achieve a personal rankings list. Feel free to comment/berate/whatever. Tier 1: 1. A Rod - A-Rod top Third baseman in a great situation. Lineup + Health should be good + Ballpark. Production value is great, and with name value im sure you could rip off a bunch of leaguemates. 2. Longoria - Seen Longoria's name been thrown around as alot of peoples MVP prediction. Come 2011 A-rod may lose his spot as number 1. But simply becuase one can't 100% guarantee progression (especially after the year Longoria had last year) he still has to prove he is better then A-rod in my book. 3. Wright - SB was excellent, lineup is back, the power is the question mark.. Could be a steal if power returns (power + SB? Wow?) or a major letdown if power does not return. Tier 2: 4. Zimmerman - Under the radar type hitter, was real productive. Has a good track record, can expect strong numbers, but how strong is the question. 5. Sandoval - Guy is an absolute monster. People compare him to Albert Pujols. I see power increase, and possible top 12 pick next year with his average. If only he was in a better situation (lineup + ballpark) 6. Kevin Youkilis - Almost forgot Youk at third. Steady consistent numbers in a nice lineup. Solid but not flashy pick. 7. Reynolds- Alot of people will give me flack on throwing Reynolds down to 7. But I just don't put stock into a guy who strikes out as much as he does. The power was amazing with the SB, but personally, I just don't want him on my team. To much of a risk IMO. 8. Aramis Ramirez - Alot of the Cubs will be looking to rebound. Here is a great chance of steal. I can see 25+ homers good average good RBI. Possibly ADP Steal of the draft for some. 9. Figgins - Played great last year, Stolen bases with lots of runs here. Solid role player for your fantasy squad. 10. Young - Dont know what to expect here. Solid track record (one time was almost a first rounder back when he was a SS), great lineup/park, a solid but not flashy pick. Tier 3 11. Gordon Beckham - Has 3b eligibility in most leagues, should be an easy tier 2 come next year, but there is always risk involved taking a young hitter, could be gold, or could go through some growing pains. 12. Ian Stewart - Strikes out a ton, but potential to have a monster year 13. Chipper Jones - His injuries move him here. 14. Alex Gordon - Might be a stretch putting his name up here in tier 3, but this seems to be the 'based around potential' tier. Will be had way late and with some experience under his belt, time to blossom? 15. Lowell - Nothing flashy, Solid. 16. Rolen - Solid year last year, Does enough to be picked. Tier 4: 17. McGeehee - The definition of sleeper. Can be had any draft, I put him and Gordon this high becuase I don't like drafting mediocre/average hitters when there could be an absolute breakout to be had. 18. Peralta - I like Peralta. I think the Indians will rebound. Could be a good pick, although I'm hopefully not having to rely on Peralta at third. Good pick in deeper leagues tho. 19. Kouzmanoff - Traded to The A's, I like what the A's are doing offensively, but I just don't see Kouz exploding or anything, blah pick. The rest of the rest Teahen could be a good provider of stats, Beltre, Glaus, Inge, Encarnacion, Mat Gamel, Jake Fox (Alot of people consider'd him a lock for 30 homers before the A's got Kouz, I don't think he's that valuable), Brandon Wood Draft suggestion: Get Third Base early if you can, it is pretty top heavy. After the first 11 are gone, it is going to be rotten for the next team (esp considering Gordon beckham will be 2b eligible this year)

Just an expression . 'It ain't homo til one makes it homo' etc. Alot of people don't seem to take well with that expression tho
-
Well I'm around 6 feet tall 145-148 lbs. so I'm definitely trying to gain muscle/weight. I am going to make a post here soon in the eating thread to help me get going. I have never worked out really in my life (age 20 right now) other then the past year, so I started slowly and just been going crazy lately (past 2 months). I've been running alot for the past 2 years and recently almost daily for the past 6 months (I know.. opposite of my goal lol), but yes - goal: Gain muscle/weight the correct way.
-
Yes - Running and water and good eating habits should do the trick. I've noticed it alot this month. I go to a restraunt eat alot, weight 148 come home run and it goes down to 146. Might not be all due to running but instead me just getting the food through my system, but it is nice to see happen after a nice long run. Dont drink any soda (if you can) or fast food (obvious one).
