  1. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 08:46 PM) Is a ginger kid...
  2. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 08:33 PM) Like me...drinks cranberry juice Very rich and parents by him everything. Soxfan1... if you truly ''spit'' things on your keyboard as often as you say... you are a fool.

    QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 07:45 PM) The Machinist = thumbs up! Bale only ate one apple and a can of tuna per day... and drank very little water to get down to that weight. He would also just not eat at times... he smoked alot though. I couldn't imagine losing all that weight and gaining even more back than you were previously in such a small time frame.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 03:16 PM) OK how about this... How many of the guys on that list after they got their big free agent contract, were a bargain at the end of their deal? The same could honestly be said for mostly any of the other big name players boras does not represent. Many big name players contracts are heavily back loaded. Out of lets say the top 30 players that have signed long term contracts through free agency in the last 3 years i can only think of a handful that are a bargain. The only bargains in baseball are the cliff politte type signings... when you look back on it of course. Even then i thought it was a nice signing.
  5. Abreu use to tap this... former miss universe. Anyone know the story about abreu and her? Quite brutal.
  6. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 12:40 PM) I didn't realize it when he mentioned it, but Puckett's career numbers are fairly pedestrian. His batting average is very impressive, but his power numbers certainly aren't. The Gold Gloves probably help too. One wonders if he'd be a first ballot HOF'er with our current obsession with power numbers and OBP. I thought that he was one of those guys that was an instant in because he got 3,000 hits, but apparently I'm confusing my players. I didn't realize that he only played 12 years. I've never been that big on Jim Rice. He had four seasons that I would call very good and a couple more that were pretty good. I'm not sure I'd call that HOF caliber. He kind of fits into the Rafael Palmeiro category with me: consistently above average but rarely elite. I think he's going to have a really tough time getting in because his numbers just aren't that impressive compared to current day numbers, and some people seem to believe that Fenway Park helped him a lot. Red sox fan hyping rice...
  7. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 12:15 PM) Well .. you take a person that posts a 100 times a day, and they post for 1,000 days ...............
  8. There are people who post 100+ times a day and have 100,000+ thousand posts out there. How? I have no f***ing clue...
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 11:54 AM) How would Harrington know? That would be a really good deal for the Clips, plus Brand and Artest were good friends IIRC. The Clips could use his toughness. Harrington and o'neal are best friends and o'neal may have informed him on some rumblings he heard.
  10. I am qw3rty some where else... how about that.
  11. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 05:57 PM) You liked Chandler and Dalembert last year while some people disliked Chandler and Dalembert last year. No one is right 100% of the time. People hated him last year... all i was getting to.
  12. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 05:04 PM) Posts a lot. Oh, I meant the person in your sig and avatar, qwerty. Well dislikes (alot it seems) chandler and i am starting to just as much... I did that as a tribute because he is going to the army. He is actually starting training the 17th...
  13. Chandler is a pussy and there is no defending him until he can grab 8 rebounds in two combined games within the next year. That of course does not change my stance on curry as his season is nothing to write home about either. He still has the same putrid defense.
  14. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:59 PM) Has a strange infatuation with a former poster. I went out of order but who cares... who would that be?
  15. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:56 PM) So impatient. Horror movies are his sharks...
  16. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:35 PM) And we care why? How many people actually watch this? The olmpyics are a joke IMO.. Watching some of the best athletes in the world compete is a joke why...? I find it interesting even when it is something i don't really enjoy some of the ''sports'' they have in the olympics.
  17. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:39 PM) Has inflicted voluntary amnesia about my owning of him with a previous SN. Delusional...
  18. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:33 PM) surprisingly, has been banned for longer than I was. Brought up that he was babybearsomethingsomething and we use to argue but i don't really remember it.
  19. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:16 PM) Translation: Leetspeak for Qwerty. I have used "Qwerty" forever since I started out with the internet because I think it looks cool and thats basically the end of that story. c0rr3c+...
  20. You must have a s***ty internet connection for avatars to slow you down. Everything i have ever been on was fine except for dial-up. Comcast works especially well... but the cable sucks balls.
  21. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 02:12 PM) ND is a clone of any film done by Wes Anderson. Thought that was what you meant... but that makes it a good reason it was so popular. People apparently crave those type of movies. I honestly only liked the royal tenebaums and really didn't like the others ( rushmore was meh only because i like murray).
  22. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 01:54 PM) Eh, it had it's moments, but was nowhere near as great as Rushmore. But I'd take Aquatic over the copycat crap that is Napolean Dynamite anyday of the friggin' week. What are you saying napolean dynamite was copying? Either way it is a piece of s*** and i will never understand the cult like following it gets.
