  1. Chandler and hinrich? Nice games. The first half the mavericks shot out of their minds. The second half the bulls were just playing smothering defense. To be down by 30 and come back to only lose by four is a feat in itself. I will take holding the mavericks to 40% shooting considering they normally shoot 46%. The bulls had 14 turnovers to their 13 but they were much sloppier than the numbers indicate.
  2. Augustine is ridiculous to watch most of the times. He is very talented but dumber than a f***ing rock.

  4. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 09:54 PM) So you weren't happy with him on memorial day? His bad out ways his good. I hate him and always will... but i always wanted him to get on one way or another. I even admitted when he was the best option off the bench last year. That of course doesn't mean i wouldn't take 90823509 players over him in the same situation. With timo people always cherry pick his good moments and forget everytime he was awful. I don't know how many times he would come in off the bench after a guy walks two guys or even one ( but showed no control with previous guys) and would go down in one pitch. Really rather not argue about timo perez tonight... because everyone knows how everyone else stands on the subject.
  5. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 03:56 PM) That is about 179 too many
  6. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 05:38 PM) I imagine his role would be very limited, even more limited than his TNA appearance. I think when he did the last wrestling appearance he wasn't under contract with the White Sox, they only had arbitration rights on him, now he's actually signed with the White Sox. Arbitation or not the sox controlled him 100%.
  7. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 01:57 PM) Easily the worst movie I saw this year. And the little Ohshessocute overacted in almost every scene. Gack. She chews rocks what do you expect?
  8. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) Well, who available is better than Harrington. Nobody. There aren't many true centers in the NBA anymore. Harrington is a PF, at 6-9 250 lbs, he is fine there. The NBA is about athletes more so than ever and if Tyson could get anyhelp scoring downlow, I have no problem with him at the 5. So it is merely a coincidence that in the games chandler plays in the power forward position he is ridiculously more succesful than when he plays the center position i assume? This seems unlikely. Chandler has to play at the four if we want the best results possible out of him.
  9. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 06:56 PM) The Bulls can live with Tyson at center if Harrington plays the 4. No, not really... and for 100 reasons explained before.
  10. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 06:24 PM) With Deng and Nocioni in the picture, the acquisition of Al Harrington would make zero sense. He is terrific, though. I've always liked him. We'll need a center who can score 12 to 15 points a game, so you can forget about Nazr Mohammad. If people think that Chandler is completely incapable of creating a scoring opportunity for himself on the offensive end, wait until you get a load of Nazr. Top priorities: An actual SG, and a C with scoring potential. I don't want Sweetney, Harrington, or Malik Allen on this roster, but whatever. As Jerry Angelo would say, I guess that I'm just gonna have to live with the crap. I think in the past year and a half harrington has fully proved he is not a piece of s***. Sweetney has alot of upside offensively but is just way too inconsistent thus far. Allen is just f***ing awesome... cannot believe you would dis him. :headshake
  11. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 27, 2006 -> 01:24 AM) Looks more even to me than they way you put it... Marcus banks is a very good defender though believe his contract expires after this season. He will help them backing up. Blount will likely finish out this year and get spun off again ( they are looking for big men). Even if they end up keeping him he is superior to olowokandi in every way outside of rebounding. Better defender, more athletic, good stamina, much better shooter... nice touch. Szczerbiak is one dimensional ( all offense no defense) and has a crazy contract. Ricky davis is the best player is also the best player in the deal. The timberwolves finally dumped the two players have they been trying to for years. That alone makes this a good trade and should now make garnett happier. This deal is definitely in the timberwolves favor.
  12. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:57 PM) Michael Myers was really good in Wayne's World and the underrated, and way too long "So you married and Axe Murderer" So you married an axe muderer was 93 minutes long...?
  13. It's ridiculous how the whole f***ing town knows who he is. Nothing like the comics whatsoever. Tom welling is a douche too imo. He basically did nothing before smallville... the he auditions for it... wins the part and declines it twice. Who does that? Not like he had conflicts because he was so busy.
  14. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 10:41 PM) Junior in High School and neither of my parents have ever done homework for me and I would never want them to. Why set myself up for dissapointment later on? I don't expect a co-worker to just do my work for me because I havent been out in a week or 2. That is retarted! I am probably the laziest person I know and I am still able to manage schoolwork, homework, the up-coming ACT, college search, baseball, and a social life without complaining or begging someone to do work for me. Please. I know you are lying now.
  15. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 10:26 PM) Lots of players moving around, but in the end, doesn't mean much. Not much in terms of quality being upgraded. Blount> the bust. Davis> the overpaid scrub of a small foward tht has spent his entire career with the timberwolves. Marcus banks is just an added bonus... not to mention the timberwolves got rid of two players they want no part of and a ridiculously expensive one in wally.
  16. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 09:53 PM) I sorta like this trade for the Wolves. They get a decent big and some young talent back. I don't see what this really does for Boston. Does Kandi have an expiring contract? Timberwolves slapped the s*** out of boston as far as i see it. Olowokandi does have an expiring contract but szczerbiak is owed 11, 12, and 13 million the next three seasons. :puke
  17. Some of those movies on that list are simply not happening.
  18. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 04:19 PM) Look at the size of his damn guest house. Jesus. I saw pics of his other house in FLA and his views were amazing, I can only imagine this one. Being lazy... you have the links?
  19. This is why people go bankrupt. Woods seems like a smart guy but it is still ridiculous.
  20. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 04:16 PM) I do know that sentences begin with capital letters. Just stop it.
  21. Zone rating and range factor along with fielding percentage are not the be all end all stats just so you know...
  22. Players should have no say who they go to in a trade ( i hate no trade clauses in baseball) and do not need to be notified about anything until it is final. End of story. If it hurts their feelings that bad they can always jump around in their money to ease the pain.
  23. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 03:36 PM) yes, i said coco crisps arm would be a major improvement blasphemy - stop putting words in my mouth. It truly wouldn't be a major improvement over damons arm. Crisp's arm is always regarded as weak... piss poor... below average. I think crisp would do just fine in center however.
