QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 06:11 AM) Ding Ding! I knew Glen Quinn went on to play the half-demon Doyle in the first season of Angel because that stupid show and Bufft were guilty pleasures of mine. Until a couple of weeks ago, though, I had no idea he OD'd, and it happened back in 2002. On the last episode of roseanne they went back and added in that he had died... thought that was kinda cool. They of course did it on angel too...

  4. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:45 AM) The Sox might beat Chiba but they wouldn't beat the Crap out of Chiba. Very worst is 4-2... very worst.
  5. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:34 AM) read the Meaning of Ichiro. You will realize what I am saying. The Yankees did lose to one of the Japan teams in 2004 and one of the other Japan teams beat the All Stars in 2004. Dude, you are crazy. Even the biggest japan baseball fans/ followers of the sport i know realize they would have no chance in a series. If they played one game series... winner takes all, you may have a point. That is why you see upsets in five game series much more than seven. The less games in a series the bigger and better advantage the weaker team has.

QUOTE(juddling @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:00 AM) The actor went on to the show "Angel" where he was for a few years, but he died of a drug overdose a few years ago. Not sure what the Rosanne writers did with the character. The ending was one of the worst in anything ever put on screen.
  7. Glad i will not have to spend 9206583069$ to play twilight princess when it comes out...
  8. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 11:26 PM) Same, but he claims to not like any of the teams that could draft him. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2280007 Well he has to realize that teams that end up drafting a player of his caliber are usually not superbowl teams right off the bat. I say there is a 1.1% chance he comes back, and he does he is foolish. No one knows what will happen to him injury wise and realistically how much higher can his stock get?
  9. Young still staying after this game? Doubt it.

  12. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 04:38 PM) Didn't Blockbuster buy Hollywood? They were gonna but nothing really came of it.
  13. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 01:33 PM) mlbtraderumors.com is not a bulls*** site. He does in fact have legitimate sources. And all baseball teams go through tons of proposals and interest in players. How do you know it is legitimate? Do you run the site? His rumors are never ground breaking and usually make little sense. When he has a rumor that is not menioned any where on the internet before him... and it goes through. Then maybe he will be given some acknowledgement. We have threads daily with this site now for about the last three weeks... why is that? He has been around alot longer than that.
  14. I just find it funny that disney spent supposedly like a million dollars on making her breasts smaller for herbie ( like it really costs any where near that) because it was a pg or pg 13 film. Shortly there after she gets rid of her implants...
  15. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 11:13 AM) not all the time. they use newspapers across the country and use radio shows across the nation as references as well. So they are ben maller and rotoworld minus the connections.
  16. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 12:25 AM) When the f*** did Blockbuster begin charging $8.00 for video game rentals? I haven't rented a video game from there in several months, so obviously it occured sometime during this transition period. It's unbelievable. I'm surprised never to have heard any public outrage concerning this. Sounds like Blockbuster trying to screw the consumers again. There I am waiting in a 20 minute line with Shadow of the Colossus in my hand, when I'm shocked to notice a $7.99 rental fee on the checkout monitor. The dufus behind the counter reacted like I was crazy when I asked him, "I thought video game rentals were $5.00?" Since I only came with five I couldn't even rent the game. They just lost my business. For about two months now. It was 6.99 for a three month period or so before that. It has not been five in probally a year and a half at any of the blockbusters by me... to be honest with you. Shadow of Colossus is redirkulous but it is never f***ing in... always pisses me off. Same goes with prince of persia the two thrones.

  20. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 2, 2006 -> 10:19 PM) Nope. High draft picks don't necessarily equal top prospects. Not everyone is represented by boras so he would still be right.

  23. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Dec 31, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) Define "done s***"? Shaq averaged 23, 11, nearly 3 blocks on 60% shooting last season. You don't think the Lakers could've used that last year? And he's puttin up some pretty good numbers now since he's been back. He's still easily the best center in the game. He still commands double and triple teams on a nightly basis. It's not a coincidence that the Heat were just 9-9 while Shaq was out. He looks nothing like he use to in the past. His man to man defense resembles curry's at this point and sure he gets blocks but it is not because he is the fierce help defender he once use to be. He has lost some steps and it shows up. Defense is half the game and he is no longer like he once was. Forgive me for not thinking his numbers demand 20-30 million a season ( no one does and especially not this version of shaq). This guy could have been that much greater if he was ever able to avoid the injury bug he has had his whole career. It is understandable though considering his massive size and how hard he goes at the game.
