His worst: 1. Kip Wells, Sean Lowe, and Josh Fogg for Todd Ritchie 2. Ryan Sweeney, Gio Gonzalez and Fautino de los Santos for Nick Swisher Off the top of my head, these would be the only two you could classify as very bad.

White Sox sign Jermaine Dye to a 10.15 million, 2 year contract should be just about everyone's favorite.

If he can avoid the bad month, Alexei is still an above average player despite his defensive shortcomings. He's also young and cheap. Trading for a more proven, more expensive veteran third baseman would be a lateral move at best. I would not be against another position change for him.

Upper deck ticks will not allow you to roam around the bottom deck. Bottom deck does not have a bad seat, so it's a matter of preference. Also, beef sandwiches at the place in the rightfield corner. You won't find better ballpark food than at the Cell, but the beef sandwiches are a must.

I assume the game is blackout due to Fox contracts. I assume Oakland's telecast would be blacked out too, so I'm not sure why they scheduled it for then.

Jerry approved of this deal because of our attendance, per KW. We were at just over 90 million this year for our payroll this year before Peavy and Rios. We might not only be looking at that insane amount of money off the books, but also a general increase in payroll for next year, as I doubt the doomsday expectations were met. Regardless people worried about the money are being ridiculous.

Looks fair to me.
