  1. QUOTE(BobDylan @ Dec 21, 2007 -> 05:23 PM) Anyone playing Unreal Tournament III for PS3? I want it badly.
  2. And no The Cool, bmags? Really? It has to be by far the best rap album of 2007.
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Dec 21, 2007 -> 03:34 AM) Illinois got a ton of calls from the refs, and still couldn't win. Doesn't help all too much when you can't hit free throws.
  4. QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 20, 2007 -> 05:56 PM) So I broke down and bought a Wii bundle from Wal-mart. It was like 770 bucks but included an extra set of controlers and 8 games, so it's not like I spent any additional costs, I just had to buy everything at once. Thus far I'm very pleased. Wii Sports is cool, Mario is cool, Warioware is cool. Resident Evil (not 4, the one specific for the Wii) is ok, but I didn't realize it was a "rail shooter." That's all I've had a chance to play so far. Any other Wii owners out there? Anything that I should know? Zelda, Zelda and more Zelda... IMO it's theb est Wii game, though more are likely to choose Galaxy. Zak and Wiki is another solid choice if you're into puzzlers. It has the worst name ever, and a stupid-anime art-style, but it's gotten great reviews and I like it from what little I've played from it. There's a ton of awesome virtual console games as well. I suggest getting Ice Hockey. Unlimited fun for 5 bucks. May I ask what games came with your bundle? Usually they try and screw you over, but Galaxy, REUC, and WarioWare is a solid start.
  5. TV: Hawk and Stoney Radio: DJ and Chris Two DREAM booths! Of course, DJ ain't much of a PBP guy, but Farmer is terrible anyways.
  6. QUOTE(G&T @ Dec 19, 2007 -> 09:08 PM) Great news. I'm going to hope that this means the beginning of the end of either Singleton or Jackson in the coming years. Don't try to talk sense into me. DJ and Chris are fine. Farmer is the problem.

  8. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 19, 2007 -> 04:07 PM) UK does suck, but Houston is a team that will be in the NCAA Tourney (they are 10-1, and their loss was a 1 point game on the road) so they aren't horrible. C-USA will get 2 and perhaps 3 teams (UAB has a shot) in the dance, which is a nice change of pace Meh. We'll see. There would be a lot of team who would be 11-0 with their schedule. Come back in two weeks after they go to UMass and get Arizona at home.
  9. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 19, 2007 -> 05:07 AM) Random Fact: Since July 2004, Soxtalk.com has had ~383 Million hits. That's about when I signed up. Coincidence? I think not.
  10. UK has lost to more CUSA teams this year than Memphis has the past two seasons.
  11. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Dec 19, 2007 -> 02:33 AM) http://collegefootball.rivals.com/content....&CID=752776 Article about that horrible Big Ten refereeing crew and its chief. He is under investigation currently. This is the crew that did PSU v Purdue and OSU v ILL For his background, not those games.
  12. Johnson was the 2000 back-up? I don't remember that. I thought he played pretty much every game down the stretch and had a huge season. EDIT: Err. Misread. Backstop, not back-up.
  13. QUOTE(Brian @ Dec 17, 2007 -> 03:27 AM) He did it! He did it!! HHH actually put over a younger talent to help elevate them!!! Unforuntaly, that talent is Jeff Hardy and he will be getting a title shot. Ugh...
  14. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Dec 17, 2007 -> 03:21 AM) Like one of their first 4 choices. All time greats huh? Mmm Hmmm. 4th choice or not, RR arguably has a more impressive resume than any of them I would say.
  15. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Dec 17, 2007 -> 02:30 AM) What did we really learn from the investigation? Steroids are bad, people cheated, and those we suspected of cheating we still suspect of cheating. The 20 mill is down from a 50 mill estimate at first. This wasn't for us, remember. It was a privatly financed report. We are lucky to even got what we got. Anyways, what may be the biggest thing to come from this(For Bud at least) is the pressure that will be put upon the MLBPA, and in turn, if they lose some of their power. If that happens, I believe Selig will think he has his money worth.
  16. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Dec 17, 2007 -> 02:00 AM) After reading the entire Mitchell Report, I have to ask, where'd that 20 million dollars go? If it costs that much to make some phone calls that aren't returned and basically interview just two different people a total of like 7 times, then s*** costs a lot these days. Selig & Co. should be embarrassed by the final product. Does anyone really care? Considering the ridiculous amount of media attention, I would say many, many people care. As for the 20 million, where are you getting that? Didn't Selig say the cost was being greatly exagerated?

  18. QUOTE(bmags @ Dec 16, 2007 -> 12:53 AM) How much stronger could frank have gotten anyways? Probably so big he couldn't get the bat around. He'd look like this guy:
