  1. QUOTE(bmags @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 04:10 AM) I WAS AT THE DYE GAME!!! WHOOOO
  2. I can see it doing just as good. We will see. I think this is going to happen. No fricken' way. With the slightly improved line-up, I see it being about 12 and 75. Will certainly happen. Torii is smart enough to know what he has to do. No, just no.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 10:10 PM) Is Raw in Chicago tonight? Looked it up, no. It's in Orlando.
  4. Got sent this article: "And RUMOR has it that AJ PIERZYNSKI has been in discussions with WWE about appearing tonight. He just shot an angle with TNA several months ago. " http://www.backstagewrestling.com/headline...140651630.shtml Anyone tired off him doing stuff like this? Sure last time it was funny, but we certainly can't afford for him to get hurt. Hopefully it stays a rumor. EDIT: WWE, WWF. Same thing, right?
  5. Were any of you guys at the Big Bar on any of the nights? Or should I just assume that?
  6. I don't get it. So hernias magically give you home-run power? And better yet, mad-clutchness?
  7. Let's see. I got McCarthy, Dye, Politte, Podsednik, and A.J to sign my World Series bat. I also got autographs from Mackowiaks, Brian Andersons, Moose, and Man Soo Lee. All this and I never waited in one single line all weekend. I have that place down pretty good.
  8. I met a group that I was told met each other from the internet and meet once a year at Soxfest. I didn't say anything, but wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if it was some of you guys.
  9. Is it out on News stands yet? And by the year book, you mean the one with all the team previews and projected line-ups and things like that, right? I only ask because usually SN is out after Athlon, Lindy's and the other ones. I have yet to see any at the local shops.
  10. I was talking to Brian yesterday. He fully expects to be starting in Center...
  11. WOW! I am the luckiest person ever. Less than a day before Soxfest, I have no tickets. But I just got a call from a person I barely know. Looks like I'll be staying over night and attending all 3 days. Can't wait!
  12. The Dugout Series from ProgressiveBoink is awesome.
  13. I don't see why they won't give it to Widger.
  14. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 05:43 PM) Why all the heat on Curt Schilling? Am I missing something. This isn't the first I have heard about people hating him. Are you serious?
  15. QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) There's no NFL or NCAA hoops on XM! There's 9 channels dedicated to NCAA hoops on XM(ACC, Big Ten, and Pac-10 are on XM. Big East, SEC, and Big 12 are on Sirius)... And it has baseball exclusively. Baseball talk in December and January=God. I say this because 670 and 1000 are equivalent to 24/7 NFL networks. Oh, and we got XM Roadie's free at the World Series as part of the biggest stadium giveaway of all time.
  16. AL Bust- Staying from the Red Sox as the obvious choice, I'll go with the Indians. They don't have the starting pitching depth to get the job done. Even with these starters, there are still some huge injury risks. AL Sleeper- The Toronto Blue Jays. Sure they ridiculousy overpaid during the offseason, but it still will improve their ball club. I think they will be a contender in a (For the first time in years) wide open A.L. East. They just need someone to step up in the middle of that order. NL Bust- Hmmm. There really aren't any good powerhouse teams in the NL (outside of the always solid Cardinals) anymore making this choice tough. I guess I'll go with the Mets since they made noise this offseason. They are above average at basically every position, but something tells me they won't get it done in the busy N.L. East. NL Sleeper- L.A. Dodgers. They made a lot of moves this offseason. If the back of their rotation steps up, they should be able to win the dreadful N.L. West.
  17. I remember that baseball card too. Was my first Sox player that I ever had and got me into collecting cards.

    It's defiantly March 14.
  20. Hate it. ESPN has always been the easiest site to navigate on the net. This is now gone since they got rid of the side bar menus in favor of ugly and hard to use drop downs. They have had the side bar since 1997, suprised they got rid of it. For whatever reason, they are also the only site that feels the need to redesign each and every year. Most of the time, it's for the worse.
  21. Shut out as usual.
  22. Nuke is not winning this. :headshake
  23. Got to be redandwhite. He can't post without someone calling him out for his antics. See sig.
