I would use it to say the 2018 season sucked for the Sox

Avi also played all last season on a damaged knee and most of the year with a bad hamstring

Anderson was a good pick

Also, where does the rumor come from they are shopping Rodon? I haven’t seen anything to suggest that.

There was nothing wrong with the pick, no matter what happens.

And if WSD is right, the Sox have never cared for his offseason work ethic

Thor comes to mind

Doubt they could afford a top free agent and then the day care costs for Russell’s kids

To me, in order for the Sox to increase their chances of getting Bryce from 0.0% to 0.1%, they would have to bring in some upper echelon players prior to him signing here (even if Sox offer the most).

Good luck to him playing in that spacious outfield

Yeah if they let him go, better be because they’re bringing in someone on a multi-year deal and not just creating at bats for Delmonico, etc

This seems so similar to a few years ago where we thought Sox could get Cespedes and then Bob said how Sox wouldn’t go past 3 years.

Haha exactly what I predicted

Btw, Cano might be the only one in baseball who hustles less than Machado. Can’t imagine Ricky getting along well with him in terms of style of play.

Under coop would be even top 80 mph? Felix is pretty much finished. He will forever be Brian Anderson’s batting practice pitcher.

Yes I would say Yolmer is almost definitely the 2nd biggest fan favorite behind Abreu.

Nope, and to be honest, Yolmer is easily one of the 3 most popular players for Sox fans and someone like Donaldson won’t make your casual fan start attending games.

A lot of money to pay for a “possible” trade chip with massive health issues of late.

I didn’t know the Sox were going for it all in 2019? I swear that 1 tweet by Morosi has made people forget about just how far this team was from actually contending last year and just how many holes they have.

Sox want a long-term premium 3rd baseman. Signing Donaldson to a 1 year deal would have been a waste of money for the Sox.

My guess is odds improved based off rumors of Indians selling

THT is going to be a great 4-year player

This might be the most awkward broadcast I’ve ever heard, and that’s not exaggerating

Paxton only supposed to get 9 mil. They’ve now filled two pitching slots for less than 20 mil

Makes Manny even more likely for them as well
