Not sure but he was all over the Orioles/Machado trade rumors last offseason

Lost in the Harper/Manny rumors is that it really seems like the Sox are going to cash in some prospects for controllable player(s)

his extreme slider usage is scary

the starting version of Brandon Morrow

Agreed, I think he would get killed in the AL

Fully expecting them to end up with Gio

this article discusses how close Manny/Cruz are https://www.pressboxonline.com/2018/06/26/former-oriole-nelson-cruz-would-welcome-chance-to-play-with-adam-jones-again

Abreu to Rockies and then put Palka at first?

and maybe more importantly, on the DR team for WBC with him and Castillo, etc.

wouldn't mind it assuming he's not the biggest fish you sign. It does seem like his teammates absolutely love him.

Agreed, and as ss2k keeps mentioning, is setting himself up for a ton of backlash from the fan base if they do nothing

Over/under Machado getting benched for not hustling in 5.5 times in 2019

https://mobile.twitter.com/MLBBruceLevine/status/1059937786453807104 Hahn doing nothing to quiet the rumors

Gross

And why I think they end up not getting either. It makes little sense to get either if they want an opt out after 3 years

Couldn’t agree with you more

Kaplan has said for probably 8 months now that Sox wouldn’t spend a lot this offseason. The Cubs not spending is relatively new information that goes against what many Cubs “sources” thought their game plan would be.

Get back to me if we draft Adley and not the next Darwin Barney

I don’t buy it at all

Kaplan said no shot on twitter today the Sox have with either, and yesterday Cafardo made no mention of them being spenders.

Hicks?

I would be stunned for many reasons. We know for a fact the Sox love Manny.

Nearly everything that’s come out this week points to Sox going after Manny

Pedro Gomez said Giants might go all out for Bryce

I don’t buy for a second that the Cubs are out on Bryce
