Ridiculous to bench him for that, as it was clearly caught.

Anderson with some great swings tonight vs Duffy

Yoan looks like he has a doughnut on his bat tonight. Just god awful bat speed from the right side.

He's hit two rockets

Really nice start for Kopech tonight. Command has been really good of late.

He's gonna be a star. I wonder if the Sox would have taken him if he was there.

Pedro checking the boxes

Feels like Pedro has homered against every Sox prospect last two years

Small sample size but Meadows has been beyond horrible defensively in his stint with the Pirates.

Yeah if you did a blind scouting session of watching him pitch and then scouting the stat line, he should be a top 25 prospect.

There's 500 things about the rebuild to worry about....that's not one

Given that Eloy has already selected his team once based off of his favorite player growing up and not the team offering him the most money. WSD has said before Rodon will definitely test free agency and go to the team that pays him the most.

He'll end up with the Brewers in a few weeks

The Pirates pitching coach is fantastic, if he can't fix Glasnow, then it's doubtful Cooper could.

JParkman has decided today Eloy is the worst outfielder ever. He's really not.

Glasnow is basically worst case outcome for Cease, as Glasnow is never going to be a starter with his command as well as his complete inability to hold runners. He makes Alec Hansen look like Mark Buehrle.

sleepy, is this the biggest trade you've broken on here?

purely speculation, but between Eloy/Kopech/Rodon, Eloy is far and away the guy I could see signing a long-term extension with the WSox.

where you see the Mets?

I could see the Phillies going after him. Can't see the Cubs going after him, as it would be a big downfall to their defense.

We usually agree, but I'm calling false on this. He's the best catcher in baseball with a great contract.

Just checking all the boxes

Cease pitched great with runners on!

Someone in trade winds mentioned if anyone would trade Collins, Rutherford and Adams for Realmuto. I'm sure the Marlins would want way more, but I hope Hahn would say yes before Marlins GM put down the drugs.

Doesn't do much to dispel rumors that KW was the low man on Madrigal
