Simply an awful start. Need to find a way to skip his next start, and hopefully he can tweak some things.

With how bad our attendance has been, you have a great opportunity to catch a ball in the outfield stands if Santiago is on the mound. The Sox should market that, and maybe attendance would rise! In all honesty, he should be sent down to the minors to see if he can work on some of his secondary pitches. Call him back up when rosters expand and put him in the bullpen again.

Overall, this wasn't a game the Sox had any business winning. Our AAA pitchers did a great job of keeping us in the game, but the Tigers could have easily scored 6-8 runs today. The offense is in a huge funk right now, with every lineup Ventura can put on the field having a handful of easy outs.
