  1. Nice play by Konerko on a rather lazy defensive play by Cabrera. After a week of watching him at SS, there's no doubt in my mind that Uribe was better defensively.
  2. Well, at least we have Contreras going tomorrow.
  3. Sure seems like Crede could have turned a 5-3 double play there. This ballgame is over.
  4. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 01:06 AM) 1.) Where was that pitch?? Looked right over the corner to me, just cuz AJ had to reach for it doesnt mean its not a strike 2.) why the hell was danks pitching to him there anyways If you miss your spot by that much, you don't deserve the borderline call.
  5. I like that Ozzie gave Danks a chance to get the last guy out. In a game where we have nothing going for us, it was worth the shot.
  6. Absolutely terrible start by Danks tonight.
  7. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 01:04 AM) he has....absolutely nothing tonight, i mean not even a fastball that is getting anyone out. He's hung every offspeed pitch he's thrown.
  8. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 01:03 AM) This might be the worst I can remember seeing Danks at any time. I guess the good news is that it's uncharacteristic of him. ?
  9. 9 base runners allowed, 7 outs recorded so far. When you consider one of those outs was a pickoff, and another was a great play by Swisher....we're lucky we're still in this.
  10. 3-0 on the 5th 2 strike single tonight.
  11. Just like the 2nd half of last year, it all has to do with Danks follow-through. He's opening up way too early, and he's falling off the mound much more violently than he did last start.
  12. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 01:56 AM) What's wrong with Danks today? He's basically a one pitch pitcher tonight with his average fastball.
  13. Danks looks as bad tonight as he looked good last week. He has nothing on his pitches.
  14. That's about the 4th single Danks has given up with 2 strikes tonight. We're in a lot of trouble.
  15. That at bat won't go on Quentin's highlight reel. Danks has to keep the Twins down, as our offense looks sluggish so far.
  16. Quentin needs to shorten up his swing a little.
  17. Baker's made 4 of our 5 hitters look silly so far.
  18. Wow, a great play by Swisher saves a sure triple!
  19. Great play by Gomez. The atmosphere is real bad at the park right now....need to get the momentum back.
  20. QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 12:15 AM) Wow. The hell is Danks doing? He's nibbling and pitching scared.... Shades of last year. The disappointing part is that he's missing with his fastball.
  21. Danks isn't going to last long. What happened to his curveball?
  22. Cy Dempster? Also, hadn't the Angels won a ton of games in a row when leading going into the 9th? The Brewers are going to benefit when Gallardo returns because they can finally ditch the miserable David Bush.
  23. Danks about to get himself in a lot of trouble. His control is off right now.
  24. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 12:09 AM) Why so few people there? Ticketmaster made it seem like there were a lot more tickets sold than this.
  25. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 10, 2008 -> 12:07 AM) Danks... solid. Danks....shaky
