  1. We don't even make hard outs. I've been watching a ton of Indians and Tigers games lately, and they just seem to be swinging with aluminum bats or something. Any chance Buehrle can get us back in the dugout tied?
  2. Well, I guess that's why I'm Mr. Pessimism. This offense is just not good.
  3. Can I be optimistic and say that I think Dye's going to make this 4-1.
  4. So Thome is still hurt?
  5. Swing for the fences Thome
  6. Is Clippard throwing an invisible ball?
  7. Holy cow....another proud moment for our minor league system. I feel bad for Terrero.
  8. Clippard can't even throw two straight pitches for strikes. This is the 2nd worst pitcher we've faced this year, after Colby Lewis.
  9. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 01:26 AM) He is doing a really good Pods impression, appears I was dead wrong about JO. Although he had no shot at Cano there even with a great throw. Pickoffs are fun. Owens is no better than a 5th outfielder.
  10. Buehrle got away from pitching in, which has been the pitch which has saved him tonight.
  11. To be honest, I don't blame ARod. He probably thought Jeter would be covering with the man in motion.
  12. Beautiful swing by Mackowiak on that pitch.
  13. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 01:13 AM) I officially hate Joe Mays, he showed the league a blueprint on how to beat a Greg Walker pull monkey offense. Low and Away, a passable change in the dirt, and let the magic happen. That's funny, because this guy reminds me of Cy Mays. I always remember how slow he made the bats look.
  14. That was a miserable AB by Konerko. He took that first strike right down the plate, and then he chases a few balls after that. This team just doesn't know how to execute.
  15. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 01:08 AM) Hawk is a silly senile these days. He just said we are a patient team like the Yankees. When in the world have you put the word patient with any of our hitters. We put a lot of first pitch balls in play. We never have a high OBP, and we dont walk. I heard that...and was hoping he didn't really mean it.
  16. Wow, great hustle by Dye!
  17. 5 batters up, 5 runs for the Rangers vs the Tigers.
  18. Nice scoop by PK...I don't ever want to see Cintron at 3rd base again.
  19. Clippard blowing an 88 mph fastball past our hitters. At this point, we might even want to try Mackowiak in the leadoff position. At least he can draw a walk.
  20. So...who's next on the AAA bandwagon to come up and play in the outfield?
  21. That was a very nice turn by Uribe/Iguchi. Off topic, but did anyone else see the amazing Vandy/Michigan highlights from last night?
  22. Has the feeling of one of "those" games with our offense. Fields better be on a flight to the Cell right now.
  23. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 12:41 AM) Floyd's peripherals are still atrocious. Look at that WHIP even just from tonight. Get ready to edit this statement.
  24. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 12:35 AM) Your best friend is starting a AAA assignment Good....no more injury excuses.
  25. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 12:31 AM) Don't worry...he'll heat up... I don't know what KW was thinking bringing him back. Did he expect more 2006? KW would have had to get a king's ransom to give up Dye last offseason. For his great contract, it was worth it to bring him back. Let's just be thankful we didn't give him a big extension.
