Voting for the All-Star starters is pretty much worthless.....your vote counts way more in a presidential race than it does in the all-star game....

If and this is a big IF Joe gives us a hometown discount and he is somehow extended what happens to fields? Do they ask him to change his position or is he moved? I honestly would love it but don't see Joe back in a Sox uniform next year....I have never been that high on Fields like a lot of people here and would rather have a proven hitter/defender at 3b. I don't think last season proved Fields of anything.....
