QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 09:17 PM) For a 10 team league, thats not a great team . You sure you got the right team? I dont see any bonds on there? Ichiro + figgens on same team? I guess thats pretty good, but you deff need some power. Your outfield is exteremly weak. Pitching is mediocre, Harden is great. Pettitte could be good, or great depending on how his offense does. Closers are okay, Hoffman shud be decent-good, Street is good, And reitmesa is a maybe. Overall? Decent. I think your hitting lacks, outfield is weak, Berkman isnt my typical first base, but hes solid i suppose. Clint barmes is a question mark, and your pitching is mediocre in a 10 team league. . But wheres bonds? If you have bonds that changes some things He doesn't have Bonds, he went #12 overall in that league's draft.

Bucks vs. Bulls + Trade deadline talk

QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) That would be a beautiful trade. Draft Morrison(assuming Bulls give their pick, although it would probably require the NY pick) as the two guard and then we got a damn good line-up. Free Agency is for depth. Nazr Mohammed and Bonzi Wells would be nice. PG-Hinrich/Duhon/Pargo SG-Morrison/Wells/Pargo SF-Deng/Nocioni/Songaila PF-KG/Songaila/Sweets C-Tyson/Nazr Adam Morrison would then be the slowest SG in the NBA. -

QUOTE(The Critic @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 10:16 AM) The "Mack Daddy" is going to quickly become the favorite player of a lot of Sox fans. He will be what Graffanino was, and then some. He's already my favorite.

QUOTE(bmags @ Feb 21, 2006 -> 10:02 PM) 2 pages dedicated to s***ting on this joke I'm just hoping someone will get the irony that my post is meant to convey. He made a bad joke to start the thread and in turn I respond to his latest post with an incredibly lame response.

QUOTE(DePloderer @ Feb 21, 2006 -> 11:44 AM) I'm glad you like them. As for a tutorial, I've no idea where to start, they all use different techniques. A lot of them include a lot of doodling (messing about with settings) and a lot of luck. I learnt all my stuff here. Search photoshop tutorials. If there is anything specific anyone wants to know, ask and if I can remember how it was done I'll put a little tutorial together. Ain't that the truth. I'd say about 90% of the time when I set out to make something I get lucky and tweak something in a way that changes the entire project and takes it to another level. The best example of this would be my current sig. This: Turned into this: I tweaked the background one time and it took me in a whole nother direction that I never imagined.

Jenks' elbow should be way more of a concern than the league "figuring him out" there isn't much to figure out when it comes to a 100MPH fastball and a 12 to 6 85MPH Curve. I still don't think Jenks will make it to 30yo before his elbow decides to give out on him and he's forced out of the league.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Feb 21, 2006 -> 07:59 PM) Whatever floats your boat. I'm sorry, I don't own a boat but if I did it would probably float on water.

I made covers for every Sox playoff game and a few other games during the season, as well as for every game of the '85 Bears. Sadly those were on my laptop which has since had it's HDD re-imaged losing all my work.

Doesn't a sleeper cease to be a sleeper when everyone keeps talking about them?

QUOTE(bmags @ Feb 21, 2006 -> 01:35 AM) 6/5 i love how this thread was consistent in just absolutely s***ting on soxfan1 for this joke. Haha, and if he knew that the reaction would be this funny, he's a genius. Bad as this thread was that aspect is entertaining. Don't give him that much credit, he had no idea.

QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Feb 20, 2006 -> 04:22 PM) haha...the best one is the side profile of the one girl in jeans where they removed like half of her ass and legs..I dont think she looks bad at all in the first pic, but it is just amazing how altered the photo's that appear in magazines truly are. It's horrible the way they shrunk her luscious ass.

QUOTE(DePloderer @ Feb 20, 2006 -> 06:32 PM) Kalapse, in case I've not told you yet, I realy like your current sig. Why thank you. I don't know why but my favorite players usually turn out to be bench players.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 20, 2006 -> 03:34 PM) I'd start with Mark, Jose, Jon, Freddy and Javier. Like many have said, you really can't contol the order after the first month. I'm in total agreement with getting Garcia and Vazquez as many starts on the road as possible. Damn, I just got a tinkly feeling when looking at how stacked our rotation is. 2006 will be sweet indeed. Don't you find it odd that the White Sox rotation has this kind of power over your blatter?

Buehrle Contreras Garcia Garland Vazquez But in the long run it just really doesn't matter.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Feb 19, 2006 -> 06:39 PM) That is Javier Vazquez.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 19, 2006 -> 12:24 PM) Especailly when it has the Marlins finishing .500......... So you're saying a team with an $18M payroll can't finish at .500? That's just asinine.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 09:51 PM) You get angry at others for overusing things, right back at ya here. I know.

It's a shame Mark Buehrle isn't an ace.

Rosenthal's best and worst moves of the offseason

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 10:49 AM) Well Konerko and Garland are still on the same team, so that's why they aren't on there. As for Thome, that trade was a guy widely known as an average overall OF for a guy who was hurt most of last year, so people aren't too excited about that trade for either team outside of Phillies and Sox fans. If Konerko and Garland arn't eligible then Giles and Hoffman wouldn't be eligible. -
No Dice, can't get in. It might just be me but can you double check the ID# and password?

QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 09:14 AM) You got Barmes on the bench but Reyes starting? Barmes plays in Coors, which will bolster his stats, especially hitting in front of Helton. At this point I'd say that Reyes is going to be a much more productive player than Barmes this year. Reyes is going to hit .280, 10 HR, 100 R, 60 RBI, 60 SB. Barmes on the other hand is comming off a surious injury which forced him to miss a lot of the year last season, we don't really know what kind of player he is. He started off the year incredibly hot hitting around .380 for the first part of the year then he tapered off big time after he fell down the stairs. Reyes is better bet, I don't see how you can put Barmes ahead of him.
