IT'S FREAKING COLD!!!!

Featured Replies

I nearly just froze to death going out to get some stuff this morning. I checked as I left (9:40 AM) the Aurora weather:

Temp: -5

Wind Chill: -24

Dewpoint: -17

I know we are supposed to be hard asses and everything being Chicagoland residents, but it's f***ing cold out there!

yes. it is a little nippy.

I don't think it's that bad. By me it's super sunny and there is very little wind, which help a lot. Can you imagine if it was cloudy with 30 MPH winds?

It was actually raining here. But it stopped and now it looks like I'll be able to play in my weekly morning basketball tourney :headbang

I'll probably fall over dead cause I'm sick, but Michael played through a flu so I figure I can throw up a few bricks with a cough.

Shouldn't you stay at home and post so you can get to 30,000 posts by tonight? :P

hooray for not having to go anywhere today :headbang

It was 70 degrees here on Thursday, it's 11 degrees today.

i know one thing. Its motherfucing cold out there. ;)

(Los goes into his 'back when I was your age' tone)

I remember in the 70's we had some MEAN ass winters back then. Tons of snow AND bitter cold.

Quit being candy asses :P

Ahh beat me to it.

I was up in Janesville, WI this morning. 13 below zero this morning up there.

Now the garage door lock is frozen. Wonderful.

This weather is teh suck.  ;)

fixed ;)

It was quite cold waiting outside for the train this morning, not to mention my heater deciding to break this morning and not work. My steering wheel was basically made of ice.

No school yesterday so my friends and I spent the whole evening (from 7pm - 10pm) playing football. The thing is that when I’m playing the cold doesn’t really bother me except for my lips. I was barely able to open my mouth just to talk.

oops

A nice 71 here today. :P

Damn, you are correct, 46 degrees, 98% humidity, 19 mph north wind, at the beach. I'm staying home.

Wooooooooooo it's above 0 today!!!! Maybe I can go shoot 6 baskets instead of 5 before my fingers freeze.

Friday night we set a record low for 20 below zero. Earlier in the week we were getting pretty close to the record high, crazy weather I tell ya.

whens it going to warm up, its still soo cold

It's supposed to be 33 degrees tomorrow and 35 on Tuesday, so it's looking up for the beginning of the week.

50! Maybe I'll throw on a wet suit and go surfing. A north wind usually has the waves pilling up on the jetties.
