  1. QUOTE(whitesoxmanager @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:04 AM) freddie is too composed for my liking. i would like to see more emotion out of him before i start to really embrace him. he is given major opportunity to show us what his character as a competitor is. i hope he goes to the hill with major chip on shoulder & big time edge to kick the BOSOX booties! You see, I completely disagree with this. Why should he go out there and be yelling and jumping around on the mound? I hate it when I see a guy like Carlos Zambrano going crazy out there, I really don't want to see Garcia do it. The best thing I can see from a pitcher is like what we get from Garland, when he struck out Tejada earlier in the year, possibly the biggest pitch of the year for him, all he did was walk off the mound and go into the dugout, he was totally calm and showed nothing. He obviously cares about the game but he doesn't have to show it by screaming and fist pumping.
  2. Wouldn't it be Garland, Contreras, Buehrle and Freddy?
  3. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 11:19 PM) Hey now, I have a feeling you mean more than just the football team, am I right?
  4. If Wakefield pitches on Friday, only one name matters: Aaron Rowand he f***ing pwn3s Wakefield This season he's 4-6 with 2 HRs off Wakefield For his careers he's 10-14 with 4 HRs and 8 RBI off Wakefield Look for Row to go deep in this one.
  5. My sig f***ing worked. I knew it would come through.
  6. I was surprised by the lack of Iguchi pics.
  7. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 10:10 PM) Actually im pretty sure Renteria said he would move to 2B for Hanley didnt he. Anyways we arent saying Graffy is a bad defender because that 1 error... he did used to be on the white sox and we do know more about him than you would think.... because regardless of your name its clear you only follow one sox. precisely
  8. Just remember, if he were on the White Sox he'd be a starter. Ignore the defense, he'd be our best hitter. :rolly
  9. Gonna have around 6 shots or so of Jenks from game 2.
  10. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 09:43 PM) Not to White Sox fans. :rolly But if you're going to compare it to Bill Buckner then you're looking at it from a Boston point of view and from thier end this game meant nothing near as much as that WS game meant to them.
  11. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 09:42 PM) I don't see what the big problem is with Berman. I think the team of Berman, Sutcliffe and Piazza is surpingly easy to listen to. Sure, they give the Sawx a lotta' love, but they give the Sox a lot of luv to. Piazza especially has impressed me with his insight into the game. I luv Hawk as much as the next guy, but for National guys, we could have done much worse, Joe Buck anyone? Yuck. Mike Piazza and his damn pink ties.
  12. QUOTE(Nokona @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) Bill Buckner the Second. Except a lot less meaningful.
  13. He's just a very bad announcer. That's mainly it.
  14. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 08:03 PM) Excellent. Great job by Buehrle since we got the lead. Kind of the opposite of the Aneheim game.
  15. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 03:27 PM) I was wondering if AJ was going to sit today. AJ is playing.
