I feel asleep in it, lol. But I was under the weather.

He was a terrible starter a few years back, I don't think I'd want to see him start again.

Culver and Nussle are in a deadlock at 44% according to yesterday's Des Moines Register.

Dow misses the record by 34, end up 20 above. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Sep 27, 2006 -> 01:21 PM) Dow has 30 stocks in it. I'll be a lot more impressed when the S & P makes an all time high. That's still like 200 points off. I don't even want to know what NASDAQ's all-time high was.

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Sep 27, 2006 -> 03:38 PM) Making it to the sims isn't mandatory, a lot of people don't make all the sims. There are really only 2 that you really should be at every year, the draft and FA. Other than that it's totally optional. Yes, you can easily spend many hours a week on this league if you so desire, but you don't absolutely have to. Yeah I know, I'm just saying. I used to go to most of the sims and in the playoffs I once guessed every single game right, pure luck though, haha. But still I'll remember that night. People mostly got mad at me because I wouldn't want to trade and I told them that.

Terrell Owens Attempts Suicide

I don't care if you like him or not, if this is true this is serious business and hopefully he can get this problem done. -
QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Sep 26, 2006 -> 01:38 PM) All we ask is that you check up on your team a couple of times a week, just to make sure you respond to PM's, keep your lineups in decent order, and re-sign your free agents, and make it to the draft/free agency when necessary (that's not even really required, though it helps). That's only like an hour a week as long as you keep up with it. Plus doing the sims which look almost an hour anyways and I attended a good portion of them anyways. I just wasn't that good at it and I tried at it. QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 26, 2006 -> 01:48 PM) I'm not rehashing old news, nor will I address "sour grapes". People don't get let go for nothing. I'm not saying anything old news related because it doesn't matter anymore and I'm not giving you "sour grapes" because I'm telling it how it is. I don't want to be apart of it like I said in a previous post. I didn't like it as much as I thought but I tried and that was the most important thing. So if you don't think I tried, then sorry you feel that way but it's over and doesn't matter anyways.

I'm part of this "dead weight" talked about because I have school and work and not as much time to dedicate to this as others would've liked. Obviously I'm not interested and because I wouldn't be offered any team anyways and I just don't want to do it.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Sep 25, 2006 -> 01:12 PM) Here's a link to probably the same guy Pretty impressive. Yep. looks like Jay alright. Which is kind of funny because you'f think the guy with no arms would be bob, but maybe that's just if he's floating in water. lol the no arms no legs jokes. Hilarious ones. Bob, Art, Matt, Sandy, Russell, they're all great.

Honestly it's kind of a relief to me that it's officially over. Most of us knew a week ago that it was basically over, but we were suffering for any small hope. Now that it's over our main concentration is focusing on the offseason. Hopefully it'll be an active one that'll put us in contention again.

Here's my list in order for AL teams I'm rooting for. Hopefully whoever comes out of the American League kicks some ass against the National League, unless it's the Twins then I'll go for the National League. 1. Oakland 2. New York 3. Detroit 4. Minnesota

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Sep 24, 2006 -> 04:25 PM) They would/should have won the game if that were the case, especially with all the key guys Indy was without today. Solid W. Jacksonville is the real deal. It's going to be another close game down in Jacksonville. The Jags missed 2 field goals, threw a way down the field, and gave up a punt return for a TD and only lost by a touchdown when they outplayed the colts aswell. Their defense is great and think they have a great shot at winning in the next matchup. Anyways in other NFL news. Shaun Alexander has a broken foot and is out indefinately. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2602571

I wouldn't mind Gonzalez as a 4th outfielder but I wouldn't want him starting here. Please no.
-
it was so funny, I almost cried laughing a few times. It also had a lot of gross stuff too.
-
I love the way Jacksonville is playing this game. The gap between Indianapolis and Jacksonville has clearly closed.
-
this hurts even more when the Twins and Tigers are losing.
-
Game's over.
-
This is pathetic.
-
we have trouble getting 1 run tonight. Now we have to get 2.
-
That looked like a church league softball play.
-
That was a wicked pitch Javier just threw for the K.
-
And that's a reason why we can't get anything done this year, we can't advance the runners.
