QUOTE(Brian @ Oct 10, 2006 -> 10:15 PM) I think all these Japanese guys should go straight to the draft. Just my opinion. And I think for anyone who is entering the league for the first time. DRAFT! I never thought of that idea before. It is a valid point.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Oct 8, 2006 -> 03:06 PM) Isn't this a bit worrisome if you're a Colts fan? I think so. Granted they've had injuries but still, this is Tennessee we're talking about and they shut out Indianapolis in the first half.

Indianapolis 14 Tennessee 13 This would've been close to the score 4 years ago but it's this way today too.

Kotsay just missed a normal homer. That would've all but sealed the deal.

2006 MLB Catch-All Thread
In the playoffs since 1903 or something, I don't remember the year but the team that scores first in the playoffs are 766-380 or a 66.8% winning percentage. That's pretty good.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 4, 2006 -> 12:54 PM) I can almost guarantee the Iowa 1 is wrong. Braley had a 11 percent lead, and last I know, he hasn't stalked enough pages to drop 20+ points. I have a friend who's uncle is Braley but anyways, Braley's going to win. That district is primarily democrat anyways plus he just seems better imo and I'm a republican.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Sep 29, 2006 -> 12:16 AM) No, it won't. Iowa has yet to beat anyone, and struggled against a mediocre ISU team. Yeah no kidding. When they barely beat and probably should've lost to Syracuse, barely beat Iowa State, and weren't that impressive against Illinois, that shows me that Ohio State should win this pretty easily. But for some reason I don't think it'll be easy, none the less Ohio State will win.

White Sox @ Minnesota 9/30/2006
Nice to see Iguchi hit the ball far.

Sox "Tired" excused from last yr's postseason
The White Sox will finish with the 6th best record in baseball and not make the playoffs. Whoever wins the NL Central will probably have the 13th best record in baseball and make the playoffs.
