I've read his comments a few times and I still have NO idea what he's trying to say. Help. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/base...ld.comments.ap/

In related news, Boost Plus sales went through the roof this morning.

Joe Crede to 15 day DL, Josh Fields called up from AAA.

Joe Crede, I literally feel your pain. I'm hoping he can have a somewhat normal life, baseball is secondary. Best of luck. -
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 01:11 PM) No clue what's going on, but 2 things: 1.) She's hot. 2.) While totally unacceptable, LMAO at the dad skeeting on the stripper. Read it again.

I'm kind of amazed at how easily he threw that kid. He didn't just drop him. He had him behind his neck, threw him over his shoulders and the kid flew, wow.

Wow, I'm in the minority on Sloan. There is something funny about her face. Now her body is completely off the chain. Anyone have good pics?

QUOTE(BearSox @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 12:07 AM) I wish I was as smart and cool as Akon is... wish I knew who the ef Akon is.

I can't figure out if I think Sloan (Eric's GF) is hot. Thoughts? I hope they do some on location shooting for 'Medellin'. Escobar Drama should not have bought that condo, LOL.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 10:04 AM) Anyone see the stitches on Barrett's lip? He got pretty jacked in the mouth and the eye. Those are some serious wounds that were opened up. No, where did you see them? and Kyle, this is not a shot at you, but how the hell would B & B know what went on at a players only meeting? QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 07:49 AM) I think Lou is doing anything he can to get tossed from that job. Maybe, because it almost came across like Lou was happy that Barret got his ass kicked. Strange.

"I'm here about the blow job" Funniest.T Shirt.Ever and yes, T Shirt Hell is the goods...unless you're easily offended.

What surprised me the most about this whole incident was how freely Pinella ran his mouth about things that are nobody's business except for those wearing a Cub uni. First, he spilled about how there was a second fight in the clubhouse and then he made some comment about how one guy got the worst if it and that Zambrano wasn't throwing jabs. Why the ef does anyone need those kinds of details? A good manager would've told his players to keep their mouths shut and the only comment to the press would've been something like : "It's an unfortunate situation that we're handling internally and that's all the comment we have for you".

Thx, I'll give it a shot.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 3, 2007 -> 06:50 PM) Torre's not stupid enough to go to Wrigley. A year ago I would've said the same thing about Sweet Lou. What's the update on Barret?....... and more importantly, any pictures of his cosmetic surgery?

How do you remove a sticker from the trunk of a car without ruining the paint? Is there a chemical I can buy at an auto parts store that would do the job?

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 31, 2007 -> 08:57 PM) And what happens at the door? Do they have, as my gay friends have so hilariously put it, "Gay-dar"(rhymes with radar) to detect the homosexuals and turn them away? Not all homosexual men are the stereotypical flamboyant feminine men. There you go making sense again.

Every manager has been 'the answer' until he puts on that loser jersey. The sheep have been in love with Baylor, Baker and now Lou. They keep bringing in a bigger and bigger name to no avail. Joe Torre, I see blue in your future.

QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Jun 2, 2007 -> 05:27 PM) the best I can think of is to sit in the fly machine backwards and keep your arms bent. I normally do those on shoulders day. If you do it with your arms locked it only works your back though. Yep. That's pretty much the only one I do. There don't seem to be many options, it's a tough muscle to isolate and really pound on. Thx

Greatest minor league ejection routine ever?
LosMediasBlancas replied to santo=dorf's topic in The Diamond Club
You guys are probably too young to remember Earl Weaver and Billy Martin. Now THOSE guys got ejected and made it worth it. They'd also rip into the press all the time. Hilarious. -
In one of the worst performances ever, Sweet Lou just went nuts on an ump. Complete with dirt and cap kicking at the ump. The Sheep littered the field with trash. Classy, classy all the way around.

QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 09:47 PM) thats a great tricep workout if you super set them, one of the best combos. Throw in some pushdowns and dips and thats a great tricep workout. As far as lat pulldowns what everyone is saying is right, you dont wanna go behind your head, also make sure youre controlling the weight and its not jerking your arms as it goes back up. What I like to do when Im doing back is do regular lat pulldowns, then some type of seated row, then close grip lat pull downs with the smaller grips. ...and also do NOT cheat by using your body weight for momentum as you pull the bar down towards you. Controlled reps with strict form are always the best way to go. What are some exercises that specifically target the rear shoulder head?? The few I've tried seem to work my upper back more than the shoulder itself.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 2, 2007 -> 08:41 AM) He f***ed Barret up in the clubhouse. I'm sure Zambrano can fight. A lot of guys will push or throw an open hand at first, especially in such close proximity before they start to throw punches. I've read all the reports on the clubhouse fight too and I can't comment on what I didn't see. I can only comment on what I saw.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 2, 2007 -> 02:30 AM) The Mourning-LJ fight from way back when still takes that honor, imo. I'd say Robin Ventura's decision to comfortably put himself in a Nolan Ryan headlock is #1 in my book.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 02:21 PM) They are calling him Sammy. Does that make any sense at all...??? BTW, How's Cali? Makes no sense at all. Funny you should ask about Cali. Experienced my first earthquake tonight. I heard a deep growl and felt a tremor that raced underneath and got closer and closer until it shook my entire office and then it rolled past me and the sound faded away. Crazy s***.

QUOTE(Whitewashed in @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 11:38 PM) Thanks for all the advice guys. I can't stand going to school for one major let alone two... I have a hard time letting go of computers on my initial thought. Even though sometimes I feel like just dropping everything. After I think about it then I really start thinking maybe I should change... Like I said I don't even know if journalism is right for me. I just feel that if out of all the more realistic options I have, that is the one that makes the most sense. I just don't want to look back 10 years from now and say "maybe I should've..." Not saying I wouldn't enjoy it or at least I think I would. You don't have to figure it all out right now. Take the tuition money and backpack through South America, drop obscene amounts of peyote and then figure it out. That's what I, um, would, maybe do
