Crochet is a terrible fielder and at holding runners.Threw that bunt away and then threw the appeal play ball away. Didn't make sure the guy on third wasn't to far off 3rd before that appeal play last time and today he balked a runner home and put the other guy in scoring position and he then scored .

You never said anything about an extension to lift innings restrictions for this year. And it also said the team acquiring him would be offering the extension not the Sox. You were blaming Getz. Would be very odd for Crochet to agree to a long term deal to lift any innings limits for this year.Why would any GM risk Crochet's future by pitching him into a lengthy post season this year? That wouldn't make sense to sign him long term then try to pitch him to death the rest of the season for a short term gain that likely won't work and end up paying more money to do it. I'm sure Crochet would love a $100M contract but he's still going to be on a plan this season and it's not going to be a plan that included pitching a possible 200 innings into late October or early November.

Believe it or not June has also been the Sox best hitting month too. Batting average, OBP, SLUGGING, OPS, HRs all better than April and May.

June is almost over and the Sox starting pitching has been 6th best in the majors for the month with a 3.79 ERA. The Sox are 8-18 in June

Soroka at times either looks like he's about to figure things out and return to greatness or be out of baseball soon. He does have real good stuff in sports. Don't know if it's a hot gun but he got the fastball to 97 98 a few times hasn't he ? His curve/slider/sweeper has good horizontal movement too. Who here knows where to find stats about his stuff ? Usually there's stats like that after every appearance somewhere online.

I don't think either one gets traded by the deadline.Doubtful anyone meets the asking price for either one. If I had to pick which one I think is more likely to be moved it's Luis mainly because Crochet isn't likely to still be effective in October for a long playoff run

A starting pitcher must pitch 5 innings to qualify for the win.After that since the lead was never relinquished I believe it's up to the official scorer to determine the winner. The scorer most likely determined that Schuster pitched the most meaningful innings after Kuhl since he pitched 3 shutout innings.
