.250 batting average. That's failing 75% of the time. As long as he hits it he keeps hitting it hard and far it's fine. He did score the only run getting a single.

At least he knows what pitches he's looking for. He's looking inner half unless he gets to 2 strikes. Look at how many guys are swinging and missing that changeup outside. Burgers not going to lose his spot. Not where his slugging is still in the high .500s . Hell .450 slugging is good on this team.

Just for a fun exercise try keeping track for how often players on both teams look at strike one before they take their 1st swing. The Sox might not ever win against any team in that category.

Yea. I don't know if it's still his back or what. But like the oblique his injuries seem to linger on while he plays. I don't know if I should I believe all that he plays through pain or if the pain isn't there. That's part of the reason why I TRY not to form too many opinions on player . who the f*** knows what's going on. I'm not just a fan of winning and hate the players who perform poorly. I want them to win as just as much as anyone but I'm not going to let it rule my emotions. I know I don't know wtf is going on with any of them.

Did we expect HR's every 10 AB's? I still want him in the lineup every day especially at home. Give him 4 AB's instead of Moncada. ( Hindsight) and the outcome might've been different. I wanted him in the lineup over Vaughn and Vaughn had a good game .

Let's not go crazy. Grandal is at least starting from the LH batters box and Neto has a gun plus with Vaughn up he mightve been deeper towards the hole instead of more up the middle for the pull hitting Grandal. Maybe if hit as hard to the same spot those it goes through if Neto is closer to the hole. Depends where they shifted him .

SHeets has been pretty good the last2 weeks , .900 OPS and those ugly Home/Road splits from last year are behind him .
