  1. Too bad the Cubs were asking for an arm and a leg for Happ. He's been doing great since the trade deadline. They probably wouldn't budge off of wanting Colas. Odd now that when Colas might be able to help the Sox we get Payton and Haseley instead. Guess they don't want to bench Sheets who's been one of their best hitters for 2 months but Colas could be in CF or LF also especially since Pollock is so much better against LHP. Not enough spots too rotate between 1st base, RF,LF, CF, DH and utility guy between Eloy, Vaughn, Sheets, Abreu, Pollock, Colas, Leury and Robert when he's capable of hitting again. But the bench would appear to be much more powerful every day especially in pinch hitting and extra innings personnel if you have Moncada, Pollock, Colas or Sheets not starting. No one would miss Haseley, Payton, and Engel. Unfortunately Leury seems to be a necessary piece. But he can be used a lot less.
  2. You're going to have to show me where someone besides you said Hahn demanded starting Kelly. I think Hahn is a boob but let's stick to the facts shall we ? I remember a Vinny Duber tweet that said Cairo, Katz and the front office all agreed on starting Kelly. Do you have something that can contradict that ?
  3. Just the White Sox overthinking things and as usual they fucked it up every time they try to think out of the box. Of course the Sox won that game so maybe it worked. Maybe if Martin started he doesn't pitch as well as he did after Kelly was gone. Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  4. You're right. Harrison is a better hitter now and the defense doesn't suffer much when Harrison plays third. Then Romy at 2nd may not be as good of a fielder but may be a better hitter than Harrison. The offense is noticeably better while the defense isn't notably worse. Since the All Star game Harrison's line is .281, .331, .363, .695 Moncada's line is .172, .276, .276, .552 Seems to me that since Yoan has had some luck in late inning situations driving in runs , he would be best suited to pinch hitting and defensive replacement. I hope once he's off the IL that they don't make the mistake of starting him any more.
  5. 5th time in last 12 games Guardians have been shut out.
  6. LOl OK Cease already said he didn't want to walk him.
  7. Some mods just jumping back on the bandwagon Seriously, awesome game and even better once the Guards lose.
  8. Real competitors . It's a me first thing. When they asked Ted Williams if he wanted to sit out when he was already hitting .400, he said he would play and earn the .400 . Got 3 hits and finished at .406.
  9. Eh who's to say he doesn't get a hit on one of them if you come too close to the zone. Cease didn't want to walk him like he just said in post game interview.
  10. Most important thing is made the Twins our bitches and got the win and a great game for Cease !
  11. You're right but not a meatball. Plenty of fans probably don't even realize it's messing with Cease. Baldelli did pull his btter players earlier so I guess he's entitled to mess with Cease any way he chooses though I don't like it either.
  12. Seby is good at hitting position players
  13. Minny wants a long 1/2 inning to screw with Cease
  14. Might just be on his couch enjoying it and too superstitious to leave his couch . lol
  15. Why so he could tell you in the first inning Cease has nothing ?
