Plesac is on the IL . Civale and Hentges pitched yesterday. We are going to get Bieber for sure but the other guys will probably be McKenzie , Elijah Morgan and Quantrill.

It would ve been Kopech in the 2nd game is not for the bereavement. Cease pitches tomorrow so maybe Kopech is back to pitch 6/2 and Lynn won't have to be used on short rest.

No I'm talking about the DH Sat., the game Sunday and todays DH which involved Keuchel, Lynn , Giolitio and today is Rodon all on their normal rest except Keuchel. The rainout gave Keuchel an extra day for the 5/29 DH. I thought Kopech would be pitching the 2nd game today but he went on bereavement .Is that Lambert now? Then Cease would start tomorrow on normal rest . June 2nd is when you would need someone on short rest or Kopech if he is back.

Hopefully Cespedes follows real soon.

Jace Fry has pitched 1 inning so far in his rehab assignment in Charlotte 5/27/21 , 0 hits and runs , 2 K , 1 BB. Should be pitching again soon.

It may shock a few of you that Lamb has a .362 OBP , .487 SLG , .849 OPS , .138 OPS+ , .141 wRC+ .256 ISO ,14.9 BB% .4 fWAR on the season. In the last 28 days which includes 6 games started and appearances in 2 other games .286 BA, .348 OBP , .762 SLG ,1.110 OPS Early in the season when he wasn't hitting he was taking walks. Now that he is hitting he has only 1 walk in those 8 games he's been in. He isn't going anywhere with the way the Sox struggle against RHP . In fact you may see more of him in the OF even with the return of Engel. Mendick is the odd man out and that's probably as it should be. Leury will sit more. Eaton may also sit more until he is fully healthy.

Yes I made a post in the winners thread 4 hrs ago then came directly here read the game thread and made my post here 3 hrs ago. I already said it took me 45 minutes to an hr. to make that post with the research I had to do 1st so that does correlate with everything I said. But you should also notice that no one said anything about the post game comments until after I made my post in the winners thread congratulating the team on the victory. So game thread comment, then research and 1st post here about the Lynn going 5 innings posts and all my follow up comments on it . Then went back to the winners thread and read the rest of the comments there .

Yuli and Lourdes Gurriel. They are separated by 9 years and Lourdes is having a bit of a down year so far but his 1st 3 years were pretty good and lots of time for Lourdes to get back in a groove. Yuli didn't even get to MLB until he was 32 but has put up some nice stats in his time with the Stros in his mid 30's. I'm pretty sure he was a monster in Cuba before he got to play MLB. I had always hoped the Sox had gotten Lourdes.

I like jomboy just for the lip reading abilities. Gives great insights on how a guy like Lynn amps himself up in a game. And make no mistake you cannot compete on a high level and be a pussy. Some times you have to be a dick . Ask Michael Jordan's team mates about it. He did what he felt he had to do to get guys wanting to win as bad as he did. On your friends softball team guys like that are assholes. All you want to do is get some exercise not look too foolish or incompetent and stay uninjured so you can work the next day.

Cool I don't ever use the radio stream. Once the TV broadcast is over I like to post in the winner's thread and read through the game thread.TLR isn't going to say much I didn't already know unless he announced if Engel was coming back on Monday or Lopez or someone was being called up to start a game.

If they get to make clueless comments which may influence other posters do I not have the right to make corrections to better educate our posters ? I consider what I did a service . But yes shame on them for blaming TLR for everything that they perceive is wrong when they have no clue. I've criticized TLR on plenty of his moves but that doesn't mean I can't stick up for him, when there are legitimate reasons for not criticizing him especially such a simple reason as 2 DH's in 3 days.

I do more know about baseball and saw no need to insult TLR for things that are so obviously not his fault. There's already a lot to criticize him for. But just for your sake right after the game was over I read the whole game thread . That takes time. Then I quoted as many posts as I could about taking Lynn out. Then I checked who pitched on what days and the upcoming schedule. Wrote it all down on a piece of paper so I could make a very long post to make it as clear as possible that Lynn was taken out for reasons that were not apparent to many. All that took at least an hour. So no not Bingo ! I am also in California so I don't get to see or hear post game comments on Chicago radio or TV. All I get to see is the game . Post game comments do show up sometimes on my MLB app an hour or 2 after the game. If people don't like being called out for making thoughtless comments maybe they should try thinking.

And most fans with any baseball knowledge should realize that 5 starting pitchers in 3 days means either 2 pitchers who aren't in the rotation are going to have to start or 1 will (Kopech) plus one going on short rest, most likely Lynn.

Actually I did not ever say he had to pitch Lynn on short rest. All I said was unless they want to pitch Lopez or someone else Lynn was the likely candidate ( over Keuchel) which should convince some people I was thinking on my own and had not heard the post game TLR comments. But yea using Lynn on short rest is not ideal. I can agree with that but also no one wants to see Lopez or Stiever starting either especially against the Indians. But Lynn does seem to be recovered just by looking at his pitch counts over his previous 3 starts before today. But it definitely is something to keep an eye on which I am sure they are doing.

No you didn't you explained the reason. You didn't say oops my 2 posts calling TLR an idiot and saying it makes no sense were wrong.

How else do i I make my point ? I didn't want to single out one person, so I picked all the comments who were clueless or the ones who had some thought other than it didn't make sense or TLR is stupid. Also i didn't copy and paste. That little + sign next to the quote let's you do multiple quotes so you can make one post to cover all of them. You should notice some of the quote were good ones and I made positives comments on them or left them alone.

Nah I'm in California I don't get to hear the post game and that long post took a while to make because i had to check the schedule , who pitched , who was due to pitch the next games and see what date the the problems showed up. Once again clueless. You really should quit while you're behind and admit you jumped the gun otherwise you are the one picking the fight.
