Couldve been worse like yesterday.

If you are talking about the LH Sousa he just turned 27,

Aaron let's try some strikes on the 1st and 2nd pitches .

Easy . I think some minor leaguers have some good half years for the Sox. Just have to wait for Lynn to come back, let Kopech pitch, Cease continues to pitch well, Same for LG . Who knows maybe Keuchel too can pitch good enough to be a fifth starter and not get the extra year. Then he's off the books . Go get Manaea next year as a FA.

Oh yeahh Harrison having a nice game .

Sousa Music

triple digits isn't pitching. I hope he becomes a pitcher and a fielder.

He did ok. He got 2 DP balls of which they only converted one.

Put your contacts in Lopey .

LOL are we going to heard this every time he gets a hit off a righty ?

Missed a hanging slider middle middle

It's all working for TLR , the bunt, trusting Vaughn to get the run home and then pinch running for Vaughn .

Now TLR bunting , see even though he wasn't on 3rd.

The Grandy-Man can.

On the bright side our starting pitchers have given up nothing.

OK Jason corrected me and it's now 0-5 on the season with runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. Gonna force TLR to start squeezing the run home.

Make that 0-3 so far with man on 3rd and less than 2 outs

Are we going to start a new thread for every Sox HR ?Let's do it !

Padres . I feel like Manaea was supposed to be here. Maybe next year when he's a free agent hahahahahahahaha.

You think it's bad now ? Imagine if they lose all 3 to Detroit then Velasquez starts the home opener !?

I think they are. Starting pitchers were readily available all off season. They had plenty of CBT space when the off season started. The biggest loss of the off season was losing Rodon's production therefore it should be the 1st guy you replace and that doesn't mean with Kopech. They were afraid to trade for anyone too since they keep getting burned when giving up youngsters. I don't know if they are just hanging onto guys who haven't established the type of value they think they will eventually be worth , or if they are trying to keep the window open longer, or if nobody wants our prospects or other teams just keep asking for guys from the 26 . Manaea seemed obtainable but by that time they weren't willing to add another $10M.

Looked like the same team from the 2nd half last year on the road. Not enough hitting , BP giving up late leads. Getting early runs then mostly silent the rest of the game.

I give him a pass. He's an NL guy playing in Detroit without the benefit of playing much RF in his life. So not at all familiar with the ball park. But like some said you get the lead you perhaps, at that point, put your best defensive OF out there to protect the 1 run lead. Did you see Torkelson trying to catch popups in foul ground ?
