  1. Yep this can go on and on and the thing is pulling Dunning worked on fine. We were ahead 3-0 so why stick up for Dunning so much ? It was the pitchers after Crochet got hurt that screwed everything up. Before that everyone was feeling good . The minute Crochet got hurt it all unraveled. it was like "hello Welcome to the House of Horrors once again.
  2. We lost with only 3 of the 9 pitchers pitching well and one got injured and 2 were after the damage was already done. Dunning gave up 0 runs but he didn't pitch well and got bailed out by Crochet. Even if that goes to 4 or 5 of them pitching well we probably win. After Crochet they all sucked until Cordero came in.
  3. Um because its baseball not something we should get all worked up over. Criticize all you want. Just some people don't care to raise their blood pressure over it. It's not sugarcoating to look at things objectivly. It was a good season . They were bad at the end . Thats how you lose . Season over time to relax and spend some time with the loved ones and be kind and not stay in a bad mood . Peace I don't need the last word on this so say what you will.
  4. Exactly how I feel. If just one of Heuer, Foster , Bummer , Rodon give us anything it's a different game. Instead we got 6 walks a HR 4 hits 4 runs given up in 2.2 innings. That's a lot of guys getting on base from 3 of our best 4 guys. But still the offense also had their chances. A lot of bad happening with a lots of chances kept it like we weren't ever out of it but after the lead was gone never really felt like we were in it either until someone could come up with a big hit or a solid 2 innings. It never happened. Well once when Mazara tied it at 4 but that was it.
  5. I know he called you the man baby after you said grow up because it came off like being grown up means you have to bash your team. The other thing about crying I'd have to look again but I'll trust you on it. We were all hot under the collar I'm just trying to be the intermediary but maybe I should butt out. Peace !
  6. What were the awful situations ? Guys were walking hitters all over the place. Are you supposed to leave them in ? You leave them in and they walk another or give up a big hit everyone blames the manager too. I just don't see how he can win when pitchers wet the bed.
  7. I think it was the Grow up part that was probably most objectionable. Your team just lost . You want to make a graceful exit you talk up your team say with a little more something its possible you win. A grown man doesn't like to be told to grow up when he allows himself to be graceful in defeat. That is more grown up than going out bitter and frustrated. Not saying you were bitter and frustrated but you don't tell a guy to grow up because he defends his team.
  8. Nah it wasn't but the bullpen pitchers were a disaster. He tried all the right guys except when he went to Rodon but not one guy could give us any innings when we desperately needed someone to step up. RR basically had to pull everyone he pulled except for maybe Dunning but that worked early on. Got us a 3-0 lead but after that it was every pitcher not doing what they had been doing . Again except for Rodon.
  9. I think this sums it up. Too many young pitchers just couldn't get the job done. If just one of them could last 2 innings maybe it makes a difference.Pro sports is not for the feint of heart. Crochet getting hurt and Eloy too might've made a big difference. You can point to some little things like the catchers interference on Grandal and bigger things like lack of production from hitters in key situations but it was basically just a very young team showing it.
  10. He told Tony to grow up and stop blindly defending your team. It's the end of the season. It's ok to defend the team you love. It's not childish to put the blinders on once in a while (which is debatable that Tony did that ) just as its not manly or grown up to thrash your favorite team.
  11. Plenty of blame to go around. It wasn't one or the other. But big 9th ining rally coming ! I refuse to give up until its actually over. Go go go go White Sox !
  12. Eh I think you come out aggressive but that's just me. There's a decent amount of team speed that's been underutilized . Maybe the other one was after Robert drove in McCann ?
  13. I think one has to be the leadoff single in the 1st by Anderson. The other one i forget . It was after all a week ago ! Well seems like it.
  14. Every time I try to post before the on field result it never works .
  15. I suggested signing 2 starters in the off season and got shot down so many times I felt like my ass was full of buckshot.
  16. No different than here. LFG !!!!! Bing bang bong !! Do it !
  17. Youth will be served. Or yutes if this was My Cousin Vinny.
  18. I could've said that but I chose the high road. Not that you saying it is the low road but I give you credit for having more guts than me. Let's score some runs !!
  19. Lets just tell the truth . The Crochet injury made this game a lot more difficult to manage. Young guys not handling the pressure hurt Walks hurt. You came with your best guys and it didn't work. This game is still very winnable.
  20. I didnt see a whole lot of people saying who should be brought in at that point. If you don't put your own ass on the line then it's hard to understand when people start saying it is so predictable Rodon would suck. Give me your takes before the damage . Anyone can criticize but who here puts themselves on the line?
  21. I was just thinking Moncada will steal 2nd and show he's in pain. He always does.
