Sosa and Montgomery might be fighting for the Sox HR lead by the end of the season if Robert keeps having trouble finding his HR swing.

For sure staying ? Like never traded ? I never got that impression at all. The goal has always been to trade him.

Robert has to fatten up on the lefty since he hits them a lot better. Probably why he was benched early in the blowout.

Why wouldnt he be ? That's the plan. The longer you keep him the more likely he wont ever get traded. Even finishing with a .725 OPS is an uphill battle. August and September he needs to stay almost as good as he was in July .
