  1. Boo hoo the Sox are getting national attention for once over the Cubs. Cry me a f***ing river Dickstein.
  2. Kane is the man , that pass to Keith , led perfectly, then the game winner ...unbelievable. What a game !
  3. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ May 28, 2014 -> 09:44 PM) Meanwhile in Arizona, Paul goldschmidt just homered and it hit his picture on the centerfield scoreboard. Wow Hey this is a Sox winner thread . Post that stuff in Diamond Club
  4. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 28, 2014 -> 08:03 PM) Not so fast. Sierra is still under the Mendoza line and Noesi still has an ERA around 6. Granted, they were good today, but patience. Sierra started the season for 2/34 with the BJ's , he's hitting .275 with the Sox. Noesi's ERA is 5.14 with the Sox close to 7 overall.
  5. QUOTE (Andy the Clown @ May 28, 2014 -> 08:00 PM) Props to our scouting department -- Our two stars tonight, Noesi and Sierra, were picked up out of the dumpster, and look to be decent MLB players. Noesi certainly got stretched out pretty quickly . Avoided his 1st inning struggles and pitched very well. Moises delivered the Sox to the Promised Land ( a victory ). Won without a HR which is rare.
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 28, 2014 -> 07:45 PM) All Dunn had to do was take a breath and throw the f***ing ball to second base. The runner had conceded for gawd sakes and was gonna be in a rundown. AWFUL Adam. We need a walkoff now or we lose in extras. Any reason why we can't win in extras Nostradamus ?
  7. Conor should be happy Dr. House is no longer operating.
  8. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 28, 2014 -> 07:02 PM) Don't jinx it Don't think he expected Noesi to be out there for the 8th but there he is.
  9. QUOTE (Baron @ May 28, 2014 -> 05:28 PM) The fact that Noesi is still making starts is astonishing to me Somebody has to , go ahead pick your poison . Who's in the starting rotation ?
  10. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 28, 2014 -> 03:28 PM) Lwt's hope Noesi can break that streak tonite. All streaks must come to an end sometime right? If Noesi can get through the 1st inning without giving up multiple runs we have a chance, but Sox haven't swept a 3 game series yet.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 28, 2014 -> 05:37 AM) Sox now 6-3 vs Cle at the halfway point of the season series, vs 2-16 last year. This is what I like seeing a lot. That was just so bad last year. Have to win within the division to do anything noteworthy. BTW, Conor against RHP .368 .415 .495 .910 LHP .310 .344 .379 .723
  12. QUOTE (almagest @ May 27, 2014 -> 09:49 PM) Why is Hawk wearing sunglasses at midnight? I wear my sunglasses at night So I can, So I can Watch you weave then breathe your story lines And I wear my sunglasses at night So I can, So I can Keep track of the visions in my eyes
  13. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 27, 2014 -> 06:50 PM) Looks like a wasted Sale start... f***!!!!! Look on the bright side if they call it that's one more game Abreu gets to play.
  14. Sweet Swingin' Conor Gillaspie. 4/4 3rd double RBI and off a LH !
  15. He was safe but I always wonder why the guy covering 2nd on that type of play doesn't catch the ball on the outfield side of 2nd base. He'd get the throw and the throw's natural momentum will allow the tag to be apllied a split 2nd sooner tagging the sliding runner on his right side rather than his left. Wow they called him out.
  16. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 26, 2014 -> 04:31 AM) Lloyd Christmas Oh like Aspen.
  17. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 15, 2014 -> 10:50 AM) Wrigley Field is in a more crime-ridden area than USCF. Yet people instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Swallows
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 24, 2014 -> 06:52 AM) Alexei, Abreu, Dunn is all I can remember. Who are the other two? http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/mlb/gameda...&mode=video http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/mlb/gameda...ap&c_id=cws
  19. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 24, 2014 -> 04:43 AM) As much as I'd hate to see Dunn go, his trade value is skyrocketing right now, and even if the Sox keep Dunn and sneak into a WC spot, I don't see the starting pitching there to make a serious postseason run. Some teams are going to be very desperate for a power bat come July. I can see it now . Sox contending for the wild card and trading Dunn. White flag part deux , deja vu all over again.
  20. QUOTE (Jake @ May 24, 2014 -> 04:48 AM) Hawk was really selling that inane stat More just for you then. That was the 10th walk offf HR of Dunn's career, 2nd only to David Ortiz 11 among active players. Sox 5th walk off of the season is 1st in the AL.
