I would like to see Juan Uribe return, but I don't see the Sox signing him as a super sub at $4.5 or so. Maybe I am wrong, but I would guess they wil bring up Getz or someone to be the sub. Of course it all depends on what they do with OC too. We could see Juan at 2B and Ramirez moving to SS.

It is very disturbing to me that we have so few home grown players on our roster. Plus we seem to always have plans to trade the few we have for someone else's. I guess on the other hand it worked with Danks and Floyd so I feel very strongly both ways about this issue

Contreras at Charlotte for a rehab start: 5 innings, 5 hits, three walks, 4 runs and gave up a hamer Joe Crede was a scratch from the line up for the second day in a row. Twinges in his back had him lifted early on Friday

Checked on Jose Contreras rehab start in Charlotte. 5 innings giving up 4 runs, 5 hits, 3 walks and a homerun. Charlotte down to Durham 4-0 in the 5th. Joe Crede was scratched again from todays lineup. 2nd day in a row
