Early still, but you have to think Contreras has shown he is the real staff ace.

I would of course be happy to make the playoofs, but to lose a15 plus game lead and back into the Wild Card slot would be a collapse. The stigma accompanying that might be awfully hard to overcome in the playoff games.

We get no offense against the Twinkies and our pitching is faltering especially the bullpen and has been for awhile now. I am worried, but there eally seems to be no reason our pitching staff can't put it together again. The offesne is a different story though. We can win these 3 games versus the Twinkies. I think that in the last 40 innings or so vrs the Twinkies we have scored like 5 or 6 runs max.

I would like toknow one thing and that's when will Carl E sit and Ozzie play Borchard or Anderson? Dye could use a day off or so also
