  1. Did Kenny get an MRI on Freddy? If not how would he know? Yes, we all knew something was up and so should have thier scouts.
  2. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 08:36 AM) At any rate, it seems like the big competition in terms of the trade market for 3B will come from Troy Glaus at this point. Glaus has been hurt more that Crede with that foot of his. But Glaus can hit hurt or not.
  3. They said on WSCR that Pods is starting his rehab assignment.
  4. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 09:08 PM) Thank you Javy for making the Sox win on my birthday. A nice gift. Now get on a roll and it will be even better. Is that you Big Z? Happy B-Day!
  5. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 01:56 PM) He has been on fire lately. Im excited to see him get a shot. Me too!
  6. Please, I'm begging you! WIN!!!!!! I can't be a grumpy old man much longer!!!!
  7. Didn't Grinder get a hit off Marshall the night before? Also in 2005 it seemed like we never got the sweep, Oz would put out the B line up.
  8. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 23, 2007 -> 09:02 AM) North to NYC? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/colum...user=CTUSERNAME We could'nt be so lucky!
  9. Ozzie said he will play Sat, on the post game show.
  10. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 11, 2007 -> 03:01 PM) Great article on Garland: http://tinyurl.com/22c9ob
  11. QUOTE(kwolf68 @ May 8, 2007 -> 09:30 PM) I don't think Dye was playing that deep, because Bartlett has no power...well, except against us ... isn't Bartlett the punch-and-judy hitter that hit his only homer off Contreras last year in a late inning win for the Twins v. us? Maybe, but it seems like once a game a ball gets over his head. His defence is not even close to what it should be.
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ May 8, 2007 -> 09:23 PM) And we're really in trouble thanks to Iguchi and MacDougal. Not Dye, letting a ball go over his head. Again!!
  13. Why to rip our best player right now. Lets ignore Dye's lazy fielding on balls hit over his head.
  14. QUOTE(Capn12 @ May 1, 2007 -> 10:05 PM) I think honestly, he got on my nerves the most with the whole 'Ichiro' on his jersey. How about if Crede just wears 'Joe' on the back of his jersey? I think its bulls***, ok so thats how you wore it back home. Guess what, thats not how we do it in the MLB in this country, tough s***. Oh lord, now you got me started on him... Yao Ming does the same thing, I wonder if its a culture thing.
  15. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 09:39 PM) I hate the Red Wings, but goalie spears and cross checks in the back are not physical hockey. Its stuff like that that gives hockey a bad name.
  16. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 03:35 PM) Once again, Amazing how losing this last game can shade your view. If the Sox won Game 1, lost yesterday, and got the W today, everyone is happy. We win the 1st two, and lose this one, and it feels like a bad weekend. I'm not calling anyone out, I feel the same way, just odd how it works. I dont mind the loss, its the way we lost!
  17. Mack allows a double that should have been caught, and takes his time looking at slow azz Sosa, who is standing on the back and lets the runner get into second. Great D!
  18. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 04:56 PM) Shoeless Joe Jackson needs a statue.
  19. Before contract talks broke off between Johan Santana and the Twins, baseball's best pitcher is believed to have had put the team on notice that he wants a contract at least as long as Barry Zito's eight-year deal with San Francisco. Why wouldn't he? "I'm going to be honest," Santana told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I would like to stay here forever. Now, how many years would they be willing to offer? Hopefully I could do lifetime. That would answer your question because that's what I would like." There's no urgency to these talks, as Santana is committed to the Twins through 2008. But you can bet GM Terry Ryan will carefully handicap his chances of doing a long-term deal as he decides whether to let him go the distance in Minnesota or trade him when his value is highest. Ryan is the guy who somehow got Joe Nathan, Francisco Liriano and Boof Bonser from San Francisco for A.J. Pierzynski and Eric Milton, and Cristian Guzman for an unhappy Chuck Knoblauch. If the Twins fade by the July 31 deadline, he can ask a king's ransom for Santana and center fielder Torii Hunter, a free agent after this season.
  20. QUOTE(TheOcho @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 02:06 PM) Why does Maxim have articles in their magazine? So men can say, i got it for the articles.
  21. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 15, 2007 -> 12:44 PM) It's hard to make adjustments when you start once a week, and it come's against a guy like CC. In that case, I have more faith in Molina than BA!
