  1. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 28, 2015 -> 08:59 PM) Patrick Sharp has managed to sleep with every player's wife/girlfriend every year the Hawks haven't won the Cup. Impressive. Cheryl Scott is a nice pickup. Looks like he's the true slayer, not Gordon Beckham.
  2. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 18, 2015 -> 12:59 PM) Goff left because he probably felt his road at The Score was blocked (all of the shows were pretty solid). Much like how several left to The Game. He just said it never felt right. I'm glad he's back. Only guy I will listen to at the Score religiously. I like Carmen(hate Jurko), so I will be switching to JGoff though. The guy knows his stuff and is willing to talk about other sports other than football.
  3. The Slap looked dumb. The first ever draft commercial about Mexican Avocados had us all cracking up. Especially with the Polar Bear begging to get drafted by Mexico.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 09:26 AM) Seriously, this was a miserable commercial year. The nationwide one with the babies dying of a tragic accident (such as a big screen falling on top of a baby or the baby drowning) was horrendous. I had to explain that to my 12 year old while looking at my 1 year old and feeling awful. Really killed the mood of the room.

Was supposed to have a surprise party today that got cancelled. No problem though. It was fine. My girlfriend and our kids were into it. Even if they faked it, it was a good enough job for me. Work will suck in the morning. Regarding the snow, I broke two of my shovels based on the weight of the snow. I wish I had a snowblower. Can't wait to move to SoCal.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Feb 1, 2015 -> 02:57 PM) Mine are coming due, and it's not pleasant. What did you guys end up in doing in terms of repayment plans, consolidating, etc? Does anyone recommend consolidating via getting a loan from a credit union for the sum, then paying that loan? Also, any good resources you found particularly helpful to figure this stuff out? I strongly suggest consolidating all of them. Unless you can get a lower rate with a Credit Union, don't do that.
  7. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Feb 1, 2015 -> 10:23 PM) I think it topped Super Bowl XXXIV for me with St. Louis and Tennessee. I loved Steve McNair's grit in that game and it came down to the final play. Yeah, McNair brought his team back from the dead. Much respect there. To me, that was the first great Super Bowl. Every previous one I saw was a blowout. Rams vs Patriots was good as was Patriots vs Panthers, Steelers vs Seahawks, Saints vs Colts, NY vs NE, SF vs Baltimore, and of course this year. These youngins don't know how bad super bowls used to be prior to 99.
  8. How does a failed drug test include alcohol? Makes no damn sense.
  9. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 25, 2015 -> 11:27 PM) The cancel page for the WWE network crashed. Lol. And "cancel the wwe network" is the number one trender on Twitter right now. Got some real backlash happening. I heard. That's terrible, but it will get VKM to actually listen. Honestly, they should not have allowed DB to come back for the Rumble if the plan wasn't for him to win. They shot themselves in the foot for that. The next mistake was eliminating all guys who had a legit case to win, get eliminated early and in bad fashion. If Reigns had DB, Ambrose, Rusev, Bray and Ziggler as the final 6 (btw, where was Orton?), the fallout would've been a lot less. They had Kane and Big Show for godsake out there in the Final 4. We all knew what was up as soon as DB was out though. Having Reigns have to eliminate Big Slow and Corporate Kane was a joke.
  10. Rollins missed that splash big time and we probably won't see it again because of it. Bubba Ray was great. And I think I officially lost this.

  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 25, 2015 -> 03:08 PM) Thibs has to realize that playing a lineup with Rose, Brooks, and Pau means you're going to have a ton of trouble getting any stops The bigger problem is, Brooks is the only guy bringing energy. No one else is. Hell, even cheering on the bench is non existent.
  13. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jan 25, 2015 -> 03:47 PM) There are some reports that a city hosting RAW at a later date has begin marketing Cena as the new champ but that could be wrong. As far as the rumble, I would love to see Bryan or Ambrose win it. Also, there are rumors that the Rock will make an appearance tonight. I could see that actually. Rock comes out, screws Lesnar, setting up Lesnar vs Rock at Wrestlemania. Rock shakes Cena's hands because he respects his wrestling ability now (not really).
  14. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 23, 2015 -> 09:02 PM) Bears hired Dowell Loggains as QB coach. Cutler isn't going anywhere. Care to elaborate?
  15. He was in the zone to say the least. 9-9 from 3 in that quarter alone. That was a barrage.
  16. RIP to Mr Class, Ernie Banks.
  17. Hate Seattle, but defensively and running wise, they're damn good. Russell Wilson is greatly overrated though. Either which way, who are the Bears going to hire for OC? Shannahan looks like he's going to ATL.
  18. Online sports betting is too hard to do nowadays because of laws. I really stopped once bodog went down. Before, I was very heavy into it. Either which way, two weeks to prepare, I'm going with Brady and BB.
  19. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 11, 2015 -> 11:06 PM) All of their big men, Horford, Milsap, Antic, and Mike Scott play at the mid range. Gasol and Noah would have to move out of the paint to defend them. Jeff Teague runs a lot of drive and kicks, Rose would have to defend the pick and roll well without the help of a rim protector. So yea, I don't like the match up at all. I'm not worried about them. Only team I really don't think we matchup with well are the Wizards.
  20. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 2, 2015 -> 11:02 AM) This is how I feel. Beside AZ, the past 2 years have not seen a new up and coming franchise. We are still talking about Pats/Seattle/Denver, and are now talking about their 2nd gen coordinators. Unless of course we are talking about AZ, where we would be hiring the coordinator of the coach we turned town 2 years ago. Very pessimistic times. I'm almost ready for Kubiak to be honest. He'd get us back to 9-7 then we can fire him for another terrible coach. Kubiak would be good IMHO. The GM is who will really matter at the end of the day though.
  21. No one asking the real tough questions that fans care about. Same ole at Halas. How are you going to hire a coach before the GM? And how do you allow Mel Tucker to stay another day? He's the first guy you should've fired for job performance. It'll be no different than a few years ago when they hired Emery and Trestman. SMDH. Good luck Bears fans.
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 29, 2014 -> 02:46 PM) Gruden was as close to gifted a superbowl as anyone has ever been. Callahan didnt change anything in the offense, both sides of that game admitted as such after the game was over. The Tampa defense said Gruden played the part of Gannon in the scout team and told them all EXACTLY how his line calls worked and what he was going to do, to a T And he didn't develop the Raiders? Either which way, the Bears need football guys in there which is why Polian and Holmgren are their best chances.
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 29, 2014 -> 02:10 PM) Gruden won a superbowl because he basically knew the entire playbook of the Raiders and was handed a ferocious Tony Dungy defense. Disagree. They did have a great defense, but Dungy couldn't get it done. Gruden could. As far as the playbook, you could argue the Raiders had Gruden's playbook and couldn't get it done. It's a two way street. Either which way, he ain't coming. Best hope is for Polian and Holmgren package deal.
  24. QUOTE (kev211 @ Dec 29, 2014 -> 01:38 PM) And how many or us would've been furious if they "overpayed" him then? Maybe he needed the motivation for a new contract to find this version of him. Yeah, it was the right move at the time. If he would've been his normal offensive self up to date, I wouldn't been upset with 10 mil per year. He played himself into a max contract - good. He's earned it.
  25. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 29, 2014 -> 01:54 PM) I don't get all the hype with Gruden either. He wanted to pick Johnny Football #1 overall last year lol. Gruden has led a team to the Super Bowl while another team should've been in it if it wasn't for the tuck. He's proven he's a head coach (not just a coordinator in over his head) and players like playing for him except Keyshawn who really didn't like anyone but Bill Parcells.
