  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 09:42 PM) Did I miss something? Asik is not that good. A decent backup? Yes. The Heat have three players better than Rose. We need to aim higher. You apparently are missing a lot of things.
  2. If anything, if Mirotic continues to progress, his rights are tradable. It's like a floating 1st Rd pick.
  3. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 23, 2011 -> 09:24 PM) Butler? lol. Pathetic. I hate Chicago teams. Stop overreacting.
  4. The SG is coming through FA/trade, no doubt. There's absolutely no way they sit on the position. No way.
  5. Who does everyone want the Bulls to select with their 2 1st rds, realistically that is? Give me Josh Shelby and JaJuan Johnson, and I'd be ecstatic.
  6. Latest NBADraft.net's mock has the Bulls taking Singler and Norris Cole. Please no Singler. I couldn't stand looking at him for years.
  7. Ozzie. This organization needs changes that run deeper than just the manager. A new GM will make those types of changes.
  8. Bynum's a walking injury at the ripe old age of 23. I can't imagine how poorly he's going to age. And he's a dickhead to boot. The Lakers should get rid of him. You don't need a true center to win in this league anymore. Not that I would deal him straight up for the 2, but I'd definitely deal him.
  9. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 07:13 PM) Charlie Morton went from 9 ERA crap pitcher to borderline all-star. How? Because he decided to pitch like Roy Halladay (literally). http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writ...morton.pirates/ I saw him pitch earlier this year and thought, "hey, this guy pitches a lot like Roy Halladay". I joked about it with a couple of my friends and said that he probably just decided to copy a better pitcher since he sucked so much. Turns out I was right. It sure is rare to see ML players imitating another pitcher's mechanics. Joe Kerrigan really f***ed with Charlie. Kerrigan is as stubborn a man you'll ever meet, and it nearly ruined Morton. Good for him.
  10. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 01:58 PM) Deng, Noah, + somebody else? IMO, that's WAY better than the GS offer. 4 1st rd picks in the next 2 drafts. 2 late rd picks in 2011. Charlotte's and their own in 2012. They could probably use their 2-3 of those late rd picks to move up and have another mid pick to add with Charlotte's.
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 15, 2011 -> 10:52 AM) Only guy close on that list is Hanson. Chacin is no doubt close. He's flat dominated since reaching the bigs, all the while doing it in Coors. Most underrated/overlooked SP in the league.
  12. QUOTE (spiderman @ Jun 14, 2011 -> 10:33 PM) Maybe if he's willing to also take a $10-12 million pay cut, I can agree to this awful idea. At this point, decisions should not be based on what the team owes him.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 02:48 PM) Are you kidding? The White Sox would take on Zambrano for $10 million over 2 seasons and figure out what to do with it afterwards. At $10 mil over 2 yrs, there would be a lot more suiters than just the Yanks for Big Z. I agree with you.
  14. NBADraft.net has the Bulls taking SG Marshon Brooks (Providence) and G Shelvin Mack (Butler).
  15. Who else was in on Boozer during FA last year?
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 27, 2011 -> 12:42 PM) Like how he stood pat at the deadline when the team desperately needed a SG? What should he have done?
  17. QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ May 26, 2011 -> 11:02 PM) What? He's twenty-f***ing-two years old. The guy has steadily improved in every aspect of the game since entering the league. Why is it out of the realm of possibility for him to improve his poise/composure in high pressure games going forward? Step back off the ledge. It's not. You're right. Any person put into a situation they have never been in before is going to be less comfortable than a situation they have been in. That's just human nature.
  18. The Dallas/Miami series is going to be completely different though. Dallas spreads the court MUCH better than the Bulls. They have multiple 3 PT threats. Not to mention Dallas should have the advantage on the boards with Dirk and Chandler.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:32 PM) Kurt Thomas has more experience than Jenna Jameson, and he was slow to get out on James when it was obvious a 3 pointer was coming. Experience is not about doing everything right. The Bulls looked solid for 3 quarters most games and then crapped themselves when the game was on the line. Missing FT, bad shots, not getting into their offense quick enough, see the last play of the game (nobody knew what the f*** was going on)....like chickens with their heads cut off. At least to me, the pressure clearly got to the Bulls at the end of the games.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ May 26, 2011 -> 10:26 PM) I don't get comments like this. Boozer has a lot of playoff experience, and Thibs couldn't even play him in the 4th quarter. The Bulls/Thibs just pissed down their leg too much in the 4th quarter in all but the first game. That's what experience is.
  21. An experienced Bulls team beats the Heat.
