Yanks lose again.....

Agreed. The key is no walks. Make them hit. The same strategy applies for the Cubs, but even moreso. If the Cubs don't hit homers, they don't win.- Iguchi: Team-oriented player
Only guy I can think of -- Gustavo Chacin.- Brian Anderson
That's okay. I expect Brain Anderson to be a lot better than Brian. He's a smart player who really knows how to play fundamental baseball.- 28-12
The more your team wins, the higher your expectations are. And in case you haven't noticed, expectations have been high since the 2000 season.- ARow rocks in 3-spot
Do you remember that game, "Altered Beast," for the Sega Genesis?- Three Sox Minor Leaguers Suspended
You made the assumption that Valido did not take steroids because of his physical looks. I made no assumption either way.- ARow rocks in 3-spot
Agreed. The only thing that needs to be tweaked is where Konerko and Dye are batting since they are the ones killing us. Crede is struggling as well but he's batting 8th where he belongs. 4 through 7 needs to be tweaked.- Mike Sweeney
Oh, give it a rest. You guys bash Timo all the time and say he's worthless. I guess Borchard must be some stud though. :rolly- Dusty gets another veteran retread
It's all for Kalapse.- Around The Majors
Hardest working at what -- putting the leadoff man on base?- Harold Reynold's proves me wrong
Does this chumpstain even check the stats before he spews forth this kind of s*** from his mouth?- Iguchi: Team-oriented player
Pods and Iguchi are perfect #1 and #2 hitters respectively. There is absolutely NO reason to ever change them up in the order. And Aaron is tearing it up in the #3 hole. His batting average has jumped from .230 to .279 in like 2 weeks. Why in the hell would you want to move him now?- AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER
Looks like Garland will be the only 8-0 pitcher in the MLB.- Iguchi: Team-oriented player
That homerun he hit last night was amazing. He was just trying to hit a double to the opposite field and it went out of the park. He is an amazing opposite field hitter. He tries to go to RF as much as he can. He's a total team player.- I heard that

That's nice but I'm not so sure he will ever pan out in the majors.- Dusty gets another veteran retread
I don't know but just remember, Dusty fears Lenny Harris' bat more than Mike Lowell's.- Mike Sweeney
It has nothing to do with his attractiveness. It's just that Borchard has that "deer caught in the headlights" look all the time.- GET VINNY CASTILLA
It's definately a pitcher-friendly park... http://washington.nationals.mlb.com/NASApp...ark/history.jsp During the Cubs @ Nationals series, there were quite a few balls that were crushed but were just shy of being homeruns due to RFK's dimensions.- Brian Anderson
Our own version of Doug Mientkiewicz. :puke And I'm not puking because of Gload, I'm puking because of the thought of Mientkiewicz.- Mike Sweeney
Are you nuts?!? Dye is too much too give up for Abreu and Wagner.- I heard that
- I heard that
I would have guessed Joe Borchard but you said that they picked up a guy who has a good eye and can rake.- Mike Sweeney
I would trade Crede for Sweeney and move Konerko to 3rd base. - Game Thread 5-18-2005 Sox vs Rangers
