Is it just me or did we also get 2 relievers back.

Its one of the players I would just love to know the trade value of in discussions.

I've always loved salazar. I have no idea what a guy like him would require to get. He needs to get healthy, we get pitchers healthy (not named Rodon). I wanna say this was in an interview recently. What I recall is they expect him to spend significant time in W-S but may start out in kannapolis.

Problem is we may have 3 years where his talent is wasted but if I were to put a true deal together for Yelich it would start with Robert.

Chris Holtmann is a hell of a coach. I think it's underappreciated how he kept Butler going after Miller's illness. He would have been coach 1a that I wanted when Mizzou was searching but I didn't even think he would leave for anyone. I heard that experience with Miller made Butler a pretty tight knit family. Not shocked by his start at OSU.

I'll take the people looking at his krate to show how he could have a good year for the minimum price we paid over the people arguing how a reliever was bad in individual performances last year. Relievers are volatile. We took a chance on a guy who could be good, to take a guy who is more likely to be good in an area of need, by taking on a small amount of salary. And despite everyone being in broad agreement about paragraph two, we are arguing about how kc fans are dumb enough to believe that their team got better by getting rid of soria through also giving up one of their best relievers.

The thing I'm worried about is what Philly went through last year where a lot of their promising pitchers the year before were underperforming or on shelf for injury. What happens if Lopez and Giolito miss a month? Hard not to see a 100 loss team with injuries to our starting pitching. But also I'm not sure I understand this trading Abreu and Garcia is more important than losing thing. Neither of them are close to as good of a trade asset as Quintana was.

I think we could be worse. We had a pretty good record in the first half with a lights out bullpen, Jose Quintana and nelly Cabrera and Todd Frazier. All gone and replaced by AAAA long shots or volatile young players. I hope I’m wrong but it could be a rough year.

And royals fans think their farm will supplement a better bullpen why?

Irrationally confident Soria will be okay after the work with Clippard last year. If not, no big deal. Minaya-Jones-Soria is respectable
