QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 07:53 PM) Wisconsin is really leaving a lot of points on the field with some strange play calling. Wisconsins run blocking has been beautiful this game though.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Dec 31, 2013 -> 12:47 AM) Honestly, I have to wait a couple weeks for the emotional gag reflex I have towards our safeties wears off before I can actually decide what I really want out of the draft. Because right now priority #1 feels like get someone to take Conte's job. Dline is so expensive now, I would prefer we address the most expensive positions with the draft. I've given up on Bears drafting a good safety, as well. We've thrown how many picks at garbage players? When D Manning is a hall of famer compared to your current safeties...sigh.

I wonder if Kony Ealy would be a fit for bears at 14. Athletic, great build and productive against the best OL we faced this season. Plus Mizzou has done a pretty damn good job with our DL in the NFL, not that that actually means much.

I'm a big bostic hater, but you can't write off him and Greene yet. They need to get smarter and stronger.

Great, the "well if you were so great you'd be coaching!" argument. Always works.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 03:14 AM) This year it doesn't really count. You have two shots to win one game and clinch, and you can't do it. We just weren't good enough his year. That definitely counts. Being just one loss worse means either you are unlucky or poorly coached. When it's three years in a row...

QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 03:00 AM) What an awful year for Chicago teams not named the Blackhawks. This is year three of being one game away from playoffs. Just brutal.

Would be great if Trestman could bring a real offense in two biggest games of year.

I feel like you can't say players on offense "gave themselves up" AMD call plays over and not consider that play dead.

Big road win for Mizzou at NC State. Clawed back from ten down in second half to win by four. Great coaching by Haith again, setting up pretty plays for Clarkson and Brown.

QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Dec 27, 2013 -> 05:28 PM) How about the fact that Forte is 5 years older? No way I would take a 28 year old Forte over a 23 year old Lacy. At 28, Forte's got what, maybe 3 good years left? I would also want no part of the drama that comes along with Marshall. I don't care how good he is. That crap from earlier in the year was totally manufactured by Dan Bernstein. Marshall has been perfect as a Bear. He never takes a play off, he takes run blocking seriously, and he wants to win. He'll go down as one of my favorite bears ever.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 27, 2013 -> 04:51 PM) I find it hilarious that people are honestly saying that Jennifer Lawrence isn't hot. I know it's an opinion, but your opinion is wrong and terrible and you are all doo-doo heads. Also that her entire worth as an actress is measured by how hot she is.

QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 27, 2013 -> 04:47 PM) I would honestly and truly take all of the non-Cutler Bears skill guys mentioned over the non-Rodgers Packers skill guys. About 10 or 12 weeks ago, I would have taken Jordy Nelson over Alshon. Lacy is pretty exciting, but he's no Matt Forte. Maybe if we were factoring salary into the equation, we'd have an argument for him. At first I thought this was outrageous but it is incredible to me that for first time in my life that's at least close enough to truth. Cobb is probably underrated here though, but Jeffery has been so insane it's hard not to take him. I can't imagine what Rodgers would do with Jeffery in the red zone.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 26, 2013 -> 10:13 PM) Really? She was the worst aspect of the movie. I think she's terribly overrated as an actor. She grated on me whenever she showed up on screen with her awful attempt at a Jersey accent. I disagree, I think that's the worst opinion I've ever read.

Good. I'd rather Wiggins go to OKC than Charlotte. The poor teams also tend to be horribly managed. Maybe they should get their act together. Big market hasn't helped NY win any games. I'm all in favor of the draft wheel.
