In this one the news anchor is basically asking the uncle to apologize for their nephews actions, and at that point it's pretty clear that the news person was letting them know their nephews had done it and that one of them was dead.

As said in my original post, I don't think NYPost would actually be found for libel, but I do think if I was one of those 2 runners I would try to find some support to sue them. Libel cases cost quite a bit to the post even if you win. This was incredibly irresponsible, (can you imagine if someone tried to citizen arrest them and ended up injuring them?) and i think they deserve to be punished. Best way IMO is a frivolous law suit.
  8. just awful. It's really hard for me to put in perspective. I guess it would be similar to a tornado, but how do you begin to pick up the pieces in a small town when half the town is suddenly gone? And the main employer and public servants gone? Thoughts go out.

I haven't seen LaGrange, so I wouldn't be speaking from experience on there, however.

So our conflict now is basically, if we are accelerating our move out of the city in order to own property, is it worth moving to an area 'like' Oak Park when we know we might not feel comfortable committing 8 years to that house. I think FP and Berwyn both offer great value and transport. But I am torn knowing that we aren't going to commit long-term to that area.

I feel for those people, they've been under water for a while and prices are finally growing. But it's still a ways off for a lot of them.

    Seems this has turned into a real estate thread. We've been following the market for houses pretty intensely past year. Ultimately, our end point will be Oak Park, but for now, we cannot afford a house there plus the property taxes, and we still would prefer living closer to the city. Recently we've been scouring for neighborhoods where we could find a SFH at our price. This past weekend, after checking out portage park and other neighborhoods, we think we are gonna continue renting and saving what we can. While nice, they are not close enough to the city for me, and I don't think we'll end up staying for more than 4-5 years, and I do not want to deal with price volatility on a timeline that short. This approach makes me a little nervous because in specific neighborhoods, prices have gained healthily. But I don't think either of us want to reach on price prematurely.

That would test the limits of Thibs' willingness to sacrifice defense. Do you see a squad with: Teague Rose Jimmy Taj Noah at some point in about 2 years? It seems like the one position we're still looking for longer term answers is 2, because we don't want Derrick or Teague spending that much time there. If we find some way to keep Lu around after current contract, I'd imagine we'd look at keeping Jimmy at 2. We would still have to be on the lookout for a real scorer at that spot and have either mythical scoring 2 guard or Jimmy be the 6th man. Our boy abroad may be coming into the fold around this time, so hopefully that helps our depth. Not sure how well or if he fits into Thibs' system though, hopefully he doesn't need to spend years on the bench to adjust. I also think it would be nice to keep Marco in the fold, if possible. He's a nice complimentary player with a bit of upside. Teague's development will take a lot longer than we are used to. PG is already one of the harder transitions from college to NBA, and Teague was a very raw 19 year old PG. It's going to take some time for him, but it was an interesting pick because you definitely got the feeling he was bulls BPA. He may not pan out, but those are the picks you should make in the 20s.
