  2. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Oct 22, 2009 -> 07:36 AM) I agree. I also drove both directions on Lake Shore Drive 2 times this past month and I never realized how enjoyable it was to drive on Lake Shore Drive. It seriously feels like you're driving in a real-life video game, such as Crusin' USA and Cruisin' World. Even though I was only going 45mph, I felt like I was racing everyone on the road. The drive south on Lake Shore Drive is very enjoyable and the view is awe-inspiring at night time. The lights from all the skyscrapers is majestic, the towering view of buildings such as the Drake right ahead of you at one point of LSD and the view of the museum straight ahead of you at another point of LSD is just freaking awesome and ejoyable to see while driving on LSD. It seriously feels like you're in a video game, and I think the lay-out of LSD is great just the way it is. I'm actually surprised they don't have special sanctioned drift-racing events on Lake Shore Drive, I'm not even a drift-racing fan, but I think even that would be awesome. about halfway through this post I started to wonder which LSD you were talking about.
  3. It seems funny to me how universities like to hire failed CEOs so often to be their chancellors. This is a bit off-topic. And I hate how schools instead of trying to improve their product, just try to improve their customers.
  4. This is the first I've heard the question posed to UIC if they were world class university.

I have an itouch. I love it. It's durable and clean. I jailbroke it to reform at it more to my liking. I put skype on it and can use it as a phone for the wireless down here. So many apps that are extremely helpful, and extremely entertaining for when I'm waiting around for class to start (scrabble ftw). I love apple, and I don't code, and I don't game, it hits my needs to a tee, and I've never been disappointed with their products. But the iTouch was one of the best purchases I've made for sure.
  6. I see their point, Obama is such a dictator letting all his legislation get sorted out by hundreds of elected officials. TYRANNUS
  7. you did who to the what now?

You should watch the Wire. But I have nothing constructive to add.

Clearly this guy has a big mouth about his intent, but there were some cases some years ago, where it just kind of seemed like idiots that were being supplied weapons and the line was blurred. but anyways, J-Street.

Yes, but one question for lost, Does the FBI ever have to worry about entrapment?

Made the exact same post on another board, where I can post more obnoxiously without worrying the troops. But don't get derailed by the sarcasm. A new jewish lobbying group opened up to much interest inside blog politics, a jewish lobbying group that is for PEACE in the Arab-Israel conflict as opposed to just getting money from the US and then spying on us and spitting in our faces. And so, a director from AIPAC now tries to discredit the group by saying THEIR ARE ARABS CONTRIBUTING TO THE GROUP!! OMG!!! TERRORISTS?!?! http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/showdown-on-j-street/ Quote: and then continues his bulls*** by bringing up an example of a Lebanese woman who once worked for, f***!, the Arab American Institute! To which Ackerman takes him to task: Quote: http://attackerman.firedoglake.com/2009/10...ca-abou-chedid/ Arab=terrorist. Arabs couldn't possibly benefit from peace in the middle east. AIPAC is saintly. AIPAC will continue to lobby for giving Israel weapons to Israel and turning a blind eye to them sending spies to us. AIPAC is good. J-Street is bad. War is good. War is good. War is good.
  12. Actually looking back, I hate my post because it iimplies each moment of love in a gay person's life is some individual choice as such as committing a sin. And I don't believe that. Essentially, this is like saying people of Indian descent cannot be Christians.
  13. And yet, being gay is not in the ten commandments, many of which are broken every day, and Christians ask forgiveness for from their God, with the hope that with Jesus in their heart he will forgive them. And they will continue to sin, and they will continue to ask for forgiveness. But being gay, said to be wrong by the cultural standards of millenia ago, is intolerable. If I wanted to de-legitimize the bible I would merely quote leviticus all day. And it would be countered this would the Old Testament, and then I can quote silly quotes from then. But the core of Christianity, unchanging, was that those that allow their full faith into their Lord and God, and work to be a good Christian shall be redeemed. But apparently this can only apply to a certain segment of people? What a joke.
  14. Wow, that was the one time I read the comments section and felt proud.
  15. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 21, 2009 -> 02:22 PM) Of equal importance is allowing women to be clergy. If the Catholic priesthood includes men and women, and allows marriage, this isn't going to change existing priests that are creeps into non-creeps. But it attracts a very different and much broader audience to the priesthood, and so the priesthood is no longer seen as a place to run and hide from your issues in that regard. Hopefully, within a decade, these final steps will be seen as fruitful to attract a broader audience for Catholics. Because I find it despicable.
  16. http://newsweek.washingtonpost.com/onfaith...l?hpid=talkbox1 Great op-ed from a humble, tolerant Christian. WaPo is so, so LIBERAL it makes my head hurt.
  17. So it was about a year ago now, when at a rally for Obama, VP Joe Biden asked missouri state rep Chuck Graham to stand up and be recognized. Crucially forgetting Graham was a paraplegic. "Lord Help me" was Biden's response when he figured it out. Ahhh, I miss the campaign.
  18. fine, all adult figures are rapists.
  19. Those that protected the pedophiles are in a group just as bad. BUT, the implication with this ruling kind of seems to be you don't need to be celibate to be a Catholic priest. And also that Tudors was such a hit it moved it's way into Catholic policy. The policy of celibacy they probably liked as a way to show how strong their messengers of God are, but surely they realize what an consequential policy it is. Is it not as admirable especially in the states to show a man (not a woman, still, correct) who can make his marriage work?
  20. Brazil needs a lot of help to get their oil production going.
  21. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 21, 2009 -> 12:32 AM) I disagree - I think Obama going after Fox is politically stupid. If you want to convey the idea that Fox is a partisan non-journalistic news network (which... duh), then you treat it as such - ignore them, maybe laugh at them a little bit when the opportunity presents itself, and just go on doing your job. This isn't hurting them at all. The vast majority aren't paying attention/don't care, and Fox, for the first time I've seen has to defend itself and is damn near acknowledging slant. Politically this at worst does nothing to Obama and at best gives cover to other news networks not to cover dumb f***ing stories like czars and tea partiers.
  22. I guess I don't understand. They compiled fox news clips of them making s*** up. Fox is completely on the defensive right now, it will harden their base but this whole thing will probably not be good for them.
  23. most of those clips weren't from olbermann opinion shows.
  24. because Reagan didn´t try to control the media... sorry Ronaldus Magnos
  25. finally got a chance to look at all the daily show clips in here. They were f***ing hysterical.
