  1. I’m sorry but there is no way the math makes out that taking 3 points does less than the high likelihood of not converting a 4th and 15.
  2. This front 7, which is like 60% of our roster cap, has not been impactful for years.
  3. A series of staying on schedule with good mix of run and pass…how novel.
  4. I think the biggest issue with Nagy in year 4 of his offense is he just does not value staying on schedule at all. Way too many calls on first down that are high risk, sets up long second and third downs.
  5. this is a great learning experience for our 11 year vet QB
  6. I sorta wouldn’t mind if he never gets any love and just keeps exploding upward
  7. The rams are really good but still just hard not to watch and just see it all as validation of why Nagy/Pace just ain’t it. But they delivered us Fields so that’s cool.
  8. Unbelievable job by Rodriguez, glad he’s on a good track next year of Bham to cha hopefully
  9. And the logic of why to start a smart experienced vet QB to show the kid
  10. That was verstappens fault, and he’s just such a brat it’s hard to root for.
  11. Carlos Perez 3-Run HR
  12. Kath homered, and some really nice games from Krogman, Gladney. Finish strong ?
  13. That’s good stuff, he had an electric game earlier this week too
  14. Not that I know of, I am just interested to see how he handles a less chaotic league.
  15. Pretty excited for Quezada stateside. That’s some pretty good power for 17. lots of good pitching today.
  16. Colson was 2-5 with a 2B last night
  17. Micker is doing decent in AAA, he hasn’t been bonkers with power but also has been reasonable on ks
  18. victor quezada had a great day 3-4 with a double.
  19. Our dear @NorthSideSox72 wrote an article like this years ago
  20. yeah he had an excellent game last week where he handled 3 innings too i believe.
  21. woo hoo now we're rollin. Glad you had fun. Farm has been sporadic in last week, hoping we get em rolling.
  22. Carlos Perez has gotten en fuego again, I couldn't tell if he was just super quiet or if he was injured for a while, seemed like he wasn't in box score for a bit. Really wish either of the bham catchers could have got more of a sniff of Charlotte than Nate Nolan but this really is like such a nice year out of Perez. And the only reason I short shrift to Fernandez is just not knowing anything about his defense and his journeyman status. But seriously, my goodness. Carlos Perez, let's review 24 years old Highest slugging of his career...in birmingham (11 HRs) Only a 10% K rate a 6% walk rate Thrown out 42% of runners 3 passed balls in 678 innings caught .264/.317/.410 are we sure this guy isn't better than zevala?
