  1. Yeah I went in hoping to spend all budget on WR/RB then made a terrible decision on TE which screwed everything up
  2. Cool, thats what I was advocating. Telling Moncada that he has no position and moving him slightly to the right every day like claymation.
  3. Ah, breathers, my bad. Glad we got that straightened up. Joc Pederson, 20 games at 1b, breathers.
  4. It was very good. Feel like it may have been in main forum. His takeaway on Sosa and Bush was how I feel. Overall numbers may get you down, but they are 19 in a tough league, and battled back for some really nice stretches again and again. They are getting used to adjusting through a long season. Excited for them to keep learning.
  5. Dodgers and Brewers? And its not switching every day. And I guess Moncada is not a versatile infielder.
  6. He may have liked his 2b time more!
  7. I agree. It's not like we are talking about playing him at 2b for like 20% of his games. But actual good teams have many good players and some overlap, getting some on the field by moving around positions on some odd days allows for keeping players fresher and a deeper team. Not surprised though if sox fill out their lineup like a fantasy card.
  8. I think Brisset will be decent. Very good offensive line, good skill talent. His first year was the equivalent of Mitch's first year. Thrown in having not been prepped for role, asked to not screw up, terrible offense, terrible roster.
  9. Just play Rendon at second and live with it.
  10. also just to be clear bailey didn't play a single game at first. CF - 6 games RF - 9 games LF - 36 games DH - 3 games
  11. Wilber Sanchez is worth mentioning too. Late signing in May just after he turned 17. Hit .282 with a .391 obp and .395 slugging. Those numbers are very similar to what we saw from Mieses and Comas in their DSL stint, with plus OBP (which I wouldn't put too much stock into). His iso is normal to slightly above average for sox prospects that at least made it to great falls. edit: also a fine 16% k rate.
  12. Yes, I don't know what to think about pitt. They are just more dogmatic as a whole. I've thought maybe they see performance as a whole improve with their outlook but may leave individual pitchers at a disadvantage.
  13. I think going after pitchers that seem more talented than their results in pittsburgh is a good market strategy.
  14. They were rained out all last week and they typically play pretty late double headers, but yeahhhh...that’s late
  15. When will these immature athletes learn to drink water like us professional message boarders?
  16. I’m going to defend the fans at the game a bit. The news breaks suddenly in the middle of the game. They are all there. I’ve been at Sox games (the Todd Frazier trade night) where stuff breaks, it is an actual game of telephone. Service sucks, and you are getting rumors left and right. Im glad luck is doing what’s right for him and his family, but I don’t blame a fan who may have thought he just made this announcement casually in the middle of a game and didn’t understand the sequence or cause behind it.
  17. Yes, possibly. W-S by year 3 with a hope he splits that with time in Birmingham makes a lot of sense.
  18. Well, we can use Spencer Adams as our lone proxy recently. Year 2 was Kanny and finished up a months worth of starts in W-S. I’d be shocked, even if he was dominant, if more than two levels was feasible given IP buildup.
  19. Man really tried to make it to this game but got too parented up today.
  20. He has an opt out after 2019 too
  21. Guzman went 1. Basically 50 IP this year. Very excited for him to go stateside.
  22. I would put odds of realmuto getting away from Phillies low.
