Per Forbes: White Sox 6th most profitable team by operating income, valued at 1.6B overall
I have a feeling in the past forbes was WAY underrepresenting org value but I actually think this list plays catch up a bit more appropriately. Like they were way off on the dodgers pre-sale and I think they've reframed the issue better.

FutureSox: Sox to sign brother of Tatis Jr., Elijah
I'm surprised that he was eligible but didn't sign. I like the scouting comments on him, but should I read anything into that?

100% believe if Rodon goes to astros he'll become a star.

I was thinking "man this is really bad", but then I thought back to how bad it was in 2015, then the laroche saga, collapse, and then jersey incident in 2016... Usually really bad, out of control events seem to spell doom for orgs. But not ours! We continue to capitalize from the stable hands running the ship.

Yeah i can't figure out the shared spreadsheet. But all negative during their sox years (I took total sox career numbers from 2013-2018. Some had positive one year and horribly negative next). Dewayne Wise Jeff Keppinger Felipe Paulino Ronald Belisario Scott Downs Dylan Axelrod Brian Ommogrosso Zack Duke Adam LaRoche Emilio Bonifacio Scott Carroll Matt Albers Matt Purke Dioner Navarro Jacob Turner Jimmy Rollins Austin Jackson Chris Volstad Derek Holland Cody Asche Jeanmar Gomez Bruce Rondon

Updated with $/WAR: Every Hahn MLB Free Agent Signing since 2012/2013
Yesterday I said I would actually count up the WAR and $ and see the totals. So interestingly enough this pretty much all depends on whether you would consider Jose Abreu a "FA" signing. I did in this, but it's controversial because I think he should be more included as an international free agent. So, WITH ABREU Total Players (not including 2019 due to WAR): 43 Total Dollars: $254 million Total bWAR: 26.9 $/WAR: $9.5 million WITHOUT abreu Total Players: 42 Total Dollars: 177 million Total bWAR: 8.2 $/WAR: 21.6 million Best non abreu signing? I think it's likely Swarzak, who produced 1.9 WAR on 900k Zach Putnam also produced 3.1 WAR on total 862k over several years Melky and David robertson come in right around 9 million per WAR, so not terrible. Total negative WAR players? 50%

Worried about reylo?
It's kinda funny that if you put reylos brain into giolitos head and vice versa there would be basically no difference.

Awesome! Love that stadium

Worried about reylo?
And 5 inning guys that are actually effective would be perfectly acceptable to teams playing in 2019 and not 1990 like ours.

Glasnow I think just threw his hardest fastball, and threw 6 straight to abreu all in the same spot before finishing him off with a hook. Jealousy, hey jealousy.

bravo Ryan Burr. 28 pitches - 18 strikes. You now are elevated to the players council.

The rays also have the best farm in baseball that they built during a time that they picked later than the white sox (except for 1 year I believe), and despite having less revenue than the white sox, and despite not trading anyone as valuable as chris sale, jose quintana, and adam eaton.

And this is why KW/Hahn will keep their jobs.

Zunino is probably more embarrassed making an out this inning than Hahn/KW are for this crap.

This crap is so overrated. Sox fans saw a guy that could hit the crap out of the ball and thought it was worth a shot seeing if he could become a DH rather than pay 9.5 million and a prospect for a .733 OPS first baseman and see if he could improve his K rates, because if he improved his k rates, he hits the crap out of the ball and it would likely see a higher average and OBP. Some people can't handle that and think "oh wow, you don't want him cut? You must think he's amazing!"
