  1. Also, I’ll take a tie honestly
  2. man Defense let down huge this game. Fangio has been way too conservatively
  3. Well. Please capitalize on good luck for a W!
  4. Yeah, moral of story is don’t make your team worse unless your backup is better healthy than they are injured.
  5. Should have taken yardage. For plays like that I wish punt returns sent back three and blocked the crap out of gunners
  6. Wow Mack saves ability to tie and win game
  7. He threw it 20 yards before that player!
  8. Game over. Well, bears coaching staff needs to show their incredible conservative use of players with aggressive play calling with a backup costs them playoffs or divisopn
  9. So annoyed. Bears road is immensely harder for playoffs now. They could have rested starters after they clinched a spot. Always devaluing today for some future date where you have an overwhelmingly healthy team risks that healthy game not being important!
  10. Late on everything. One thing that makes backups backups is they are less consistent. please just win this game however you can.
  11. This is exactly what I expected.
  12. A win against Florida in the swamp when Fla is top 15 is impressive regardless if you think the rank is inflated. But I say he’s good enough because I look around at Tennessee, at Arkansas, even South Carolina, at schools with better resources, better recruiting and have been much closer to underperforming than Odom, who this year basically ended up where his recruiting class would say he would. Missouri can get to 8 wins in east, but that’s only because much richer, better recruited programs keep flailing. That could easily happen to Missouri but it didn’t. Odom doesn’t appear to be a great coach in recruiting or in game but he has found two good OCs and has appeared to progress on defense.
  13. He’s counting Bruce/Swarzak but I’m not that big of a fan of doing that at this point because money will have to be spent to replace those spots. Will be easier to do in March. I like trade for Seattle but I still think they would be better off uncoupling Diaz and Sending same cash they acquired with Bruce/swarzak
  14. I can see this and hope so. But if it ends up with Michael Brantley ...
  15. After a day or so sitting on this...I think I hate this trade. It feels very 2014-2016 Sox, who will trade off a cheap, controllable but flawed player and focus only in fixing the flaw by signing an expensive veteran who when they arrive end up worse than what they got rid of. White Sox don’t need marginal upgrades. There should be no more “If Sox just get AVERAGE production from X position instead of negative that’s a big win” rationales anymore. Avg production should come from within .org. judging by what Colome got from deadline, Is rather have traded off lower prospects, or let the bloated number of relief prospects from our forty man prove their spot. This rebuild has seen so much preference for relief pitching prospects, and we need to trade a cheap catcher who may be as good offensively as he showed for more? Again, the good news is this was a cheap barometer to see if Hahn still is garbage at pro scouting.
  16. He had a wrist injury. Hopefully Sox don’t just rely on minor league stats without any additional scouting or context.
  17. Schoop and TA on the same offense... not sure about that. OBP needs to come from somewhere big.
  18. Hawk voice required
  19. Even though it doesn't look good today, when it's all said and done I firmly believe avi garcia will go down as the best white sox right fielder ever. I really believe so.
  20. Then I'd buy my "White Sox 2019 Third Place Champs" shirt and call it a day. I do think there are some veterans that can actually be just as important for development and also talent accumulation, but part of that is just I don't see sox using extra 25 man roster spots to rule 5 or waiver pickups as that helpful anymore. Maybe we'll find we can find position player equivelants to kahnle/swarzak.
  21. Consensus was much closer to 16 million.
  22. This is a bit of an about face for me but I'd rather re-sign Avi for 5 million than pay Brantley.
  23. I'm a little surprised at this predicted arb number for Colome. We way overestimated Abreu last year, are we sure that number is correct?
  24. I don't know. I think it's more that Nick and Matt had their year 2. So the fact that he doesn't means he had a leg-up. I'm not keeping a long term spot for palka, but he did enough to get a second audition whereas the others second auditions didn't do anything.
  25. I think this is likely true, but also I did not expect sox to have another year of so many power-only, limited defensive players. Palka is gonna be who they go with, I didn't see nicky or matt d with spots. Also, the idea that we have to have two players to make a good DH grosses me out.
