Really bummed. Usually in game threads, the sentiment is always that a sox player failed vs the other players being great (I do this too! not an insult). For a few players, that's not the case. Beltre was a player you watched and couldn't help but be in awe of. And what a career too. For a while it seemed like he was severely underachieving after that amazing year with the dodgers. And then at age 31 he becomes consistently awesome for a decade. He was awesome.
